BTW. He loves dire straits , he is a big fan of mark knopfler. He talked about it in a seminar and was demonstrating mark's influence on his playing. That's why he is making a joke out of it. He is actually soft spoken.

The silliness and assholeness is part of their act. They never break character. It's all an act that has proved very lucrative. I wish they would put out a serious album as they are all very skilled musicians. They never break character but I'v seen them in photos without the get up. All short haired very different looking.

This transvestite is trolling, in case you haven't noticed. ;) And why would you even care what anybody says about Mark Knopfler? He's hundreds of miles ahead on just about every guitar player on Earth. :) It's very simple: everybody in the world knows Dire Straits and Mark Knopfler. Practically nobody knows Steel Panther; says enough, doesn't it? This guy knows Knopfler all too well, but do you seriously think Knopfler knows this guy? So why would you let this guy anger you? :)
