My husband just asked me, "Don't you get sick of watching those videos?" My reply, "Never!" Even if the pattern or fabrics are not for me, I love to see the entire quilting process from start to finish in less than 20 minutes. You are very generous to give a quilt away with every episode. Thank you for what you offer to the quilting community. What batting do you prefer to use?

I use Hobbs 80% cotton / 20% polyester in all my quilts.

This is such a magic pattern. Fabulous the way its put together and just by shifting the strips along then theres the chain. Thank you so much for this video. When i looked at the finished quilt i was blown away. Thank you so much Donna for all your time and tips greatly appreciated. 🌻 Those Frogs are wonderful i have the pattern but still have to make them. I’m crazy about Elephants do you think there is ever a chance that you could make a patch Ellie. I have knitted Elephants and they also have stuffing and can stand. Just a thought. I love the quilt in those fabrics. Modern, but still festive for the Fall. I think I'd do it so the chains were vertical. This would be a perfect beginner quilt or one that you can work at just a few minutes at a time. As always, Donna gives us an excellent tutorial. 💞💞

I love, love, love your tutorials! You've given me courage to try things that I've been avoiding. One question I have is about the way you cut your backgrounds by folding them over and over and then cutting the many layers. I know that must save a ton of time, but was wondering how you do the figuring for the folds. Thanks. You guys are great!!

Hi I have made loads of frogs and they are just lovely. I keep one or two them on tops chairs and the sofa! People love touching them, they are so tactile. Thank you Donna and gang for another fine video. P.S. My favourite frog is called FREDDY.

As a complete quilt novice (meaning I have plenty of fabric but have yet to even attempt any kind of quilting yet!) I am curious as to why you didn't sew the end of the long white strips with a quarter inch seam? Hope this question makes sense. 😊

She had the selvedges on the ends of the strips (you typically don't want the selvedges in your quilt) and instead of trimming them all off before she sewed the strips together, she simply used a larger seam allowance and then trimmed them off as she ironed the long strip.

Love all your quilts whether or not choosing the same fabrics as yourself. I binge watch you all the time. On this particular quilt, was there a reason you did not put a wider more colorful border on after the small white border? Seems to my eye it would have grounded the quilt more and made everything come together better. What is your opinion of such an added border? Please keep the tutorials coming! 💗
