Finally got round to fitting the heated grips onto my pcx as part of the winter prep. Done it the easy way using the Honda accessory switched live wiring behind the dash so i didn't need to run cabling to the battery and remove loads of bodywork.

Thanks for these videos. I've just picked up a new PCX160 after my NMAX155 was written off, so the video's on the top box, screen, and heated grips fitting have been great. I wasn't looking forward to running the wiring back to the battery, so it's great to learn about that accessory plug - so much easier.

Thank you so much for this vid! I've had me grips directly connected to the batterie for a good 3 years now and lost count of how many times i drained them because i forgot to turn the flipping things off lol! Ill be doing this saturday on my 17reg pcx and hopefully not cock it up haha! Love the vid quality btw! keep it up!

Very useful video. Thanks. I have a 21 Forza 125 so will give this a go, hopefully the wiring will be similar but some good pointers nonetheless.

Hey! Thanks a lot for this Video! I have bought a PCX just now and want to install a GPS-Tracker. While searching on YT i found your video. Do you know if there is permanent/Battery 12V on this connector ? I could not find any informations on this connector in the interweb. Thanks and nice VIdeo! Thomas

Glad I could help! As far as I know there isn’t a permanent 12v there. Easy enough to run your own from the battery though. Watch it doesn’t drain the battery too much when the scooter is lying around not getting used

@@misfirems Perhaps i will find a place close to the battery. I want to avoid to dismout a lot of things. to pull cables. I never have luck with plastic parts and always damage this little clips :) The tracker i use has a integrated small battery which will make it work for 42hrs in "online mode" It also has a inteligent "charging" circuit - that only powers the device from the bike's battery if the internal one gets low. So im not very affraid of it sucking low the battery. :)

Unless you are comfortable doing it yourself you should always get it done professionally

I watched your video because I need power for my Tomtom Navigation system! Do you think it will be bad for the battery if I charge my phone and have the navigation system connected?

I think you will be fine buddy the sat nav won’t take much more power than the phone. I just use my phone as my sat nav mounted on the bars or the mirror
