I used to do mall security and people film there all the time and usually tell them as long as they are not blocking any stores or entrances they allowed to film within the mall rules. That security officer need to read his post rules for what they are doing. Security camera are there to see any suspicion activity or person and half the time they are barely running. Nobody should feel like they are held hostage by doing good deeds I was one of these people like him doing something good and protecting people's safety against a security guard and I got kicked in the abdominal area and have not recovered since then and they wanted to arrest me but not hear the side where I was trying to report a security guard in the first place who was extremely rude and disgusting from the get go. You don't seem to understand that people's lives shouldn't come last over some over assuming person or some cop on his high horse. When I seen this I was so very touched, my heart over flowed with joy and happiness. As you one man, one individual making such a difference. I have been there trying to make it trying to make ends meet and just hoping that the customers behind me in line doesn't judge me, making rude comments and rude conversation amongst each other about how much time I am taking to count out my change and money, because this is what I have done and so many times what I have to do to pay for only what I "need" for my family not what I actually "want" to get my family, and then making that last as long as I can. I bet that the guards and the police that came up to you maybe they haven't ever had that experience of not having enough money or maybe they seemingly forgotten how it is, how it feels choosing what they are going to have to put back,or taken off there bill. So they can so call afford / pay for what they can get......If they have or had ever been in this situation they would be shaking your hand and thanking you, not interrogating you on why you are helping people, or why are you showing love and kindness. An act of kindness.... And here they come, asking you questions as if you are doing something wrong. The only "wrong" I see is people who has forgotten about kindness, respect, concern and love for each other, for man kind. It is way past due for people to take off there blinders...... take a look around. Open your eyes, hearts and minds to a better way to treat each other. I thank you for doing what you do. You are making that difference.

Your security shouldn’t be ordering people to shake your hand. It was off-putting. You’re there to show kindness, not make demands. Some people are not into physical contact and you shouldn’t force anything, you have to respect peoples boundaries. You should just accept what comes natural for someone else. Other than that you do great work and I applaud your efforts.
You are doing a good thing helping people. There is just a misunderstanding with some people. They see a bulletproof vest and camo pants, and a bodyguard. They do not understand that you are spreading positivity. I don't think you need to change any of that, because you know you are doing good. But communicating and listening to the perspective of security can help avoid these situations, without compromising your message or how you interact or dress. They don't understand why you are there, and so having patience with them can assist in avoiding conflict.

As a federal prosecutor and judge for the last 25 years and a military officer for 28, I’m well versed in conflict resolution and far too familiar with what this is when I see it. @@capnspicy5565 military bases are federal property and closed to the general public a mall may be private property but it is open to the public and therefore must be compliant with civil rights such as filming yourself and others with their consent if I step onto someone's lawn without permission I am trespassing on private property and therefore they have the right to defend themselves and their property but if I walk through a grocery store I am still allowed my civil liberties as stated in the 1964 civil rights act and the constitution and its amendments therefore I may film myself and others with their verbal consent as well as any other liberties such as carrying a legal weapon. Do better.

I'm so happy that u helped the wheelchair ones..cause I'm in a wheelchair and can no longer work anymore. I used to be a Paramedic, but due to health reason can no longer get work. My son who is, 25, takes care of me instead of having someone else di it. He wants to make sure I'm treated with the love and respect that I should be. We barely make it every month since I only get Social Security now and he does get paid to take care of me. But we can no longer do what what we used to or go to visit our family back home in San Diego...I havent been back home since 2009...thank u so much for giving back and showing love. In all honesty I didn't even know it was against the law to do what you do to help people. I live in Washington and we don't get harassed by police or security guards for helping people even the homeless and I've seen more than enough people helping the other people that are struggling. Dude you can go almost anywhere and help people without this kind of backlash. The problem is that this dude has a huge intimidating body guard and a bullet proof vest. There is no reason for that. Yeah, gonna have to call out 2:00 where the guy hands a gift card over, and the “bodyguard” immediately starts harassing the guy less than a second after the hand off “SAY THANK YOU, SHAKE HIS HAND.” That is not good. If you’re giving something away you don’t need to be intimidating people into the reaction you want. I’d estimate last year i donated around 5k between actual charities and random homeless/people in need and i would never dream of insisting on confirmation from any of them. Of course i always say thank you for even the smallest of gestures, but you don’t know what others are going through. Very sad to see that twist on this, it’s like someone being more concerned about what “prestige” their donation gets them rather than what it’s for.

I been having difficult times too. I really appreciate what this man is doing for others. Like a week ago I been picking up my kid from school and my car was empty, so I stop really quick because I have my payments behind and the finance are looking the car. I don’t have any other way to drop my son in school or pick him up. I now is not the best but I need the car until I can fix my life again. So, I run to the inside to pay for the gas and the card decline 4 times. And then a Angel payed the gas for me. The angels exists, no matter the color, the appearance or the age.
