i do that, i make almost serious jokes and some people(who have a functional brain) they get them as they are too over the line to not be jokes but every time they think i'm serious i feel so much joy as i wonder if i would be a good actor and i feel so much relief when someone actually gets that i'm just joking
I have no idea how scipted these are but it amazes me how he always listens well and trys to do exactly what his guests are describing to make them as uncomfortable as possible, without doing something genuinly weird most of the time. Without context many litte detailes would probably seem normal but after they talked about something its great to see how he listened and trys to get a funny situation out of it

I feel a little bit sad for the girl. she is very genuine with her answers and doesnt know him that well since they just met. so when he trolls her it just feels like she really dont know how to act and it hurts a little bit. She has no idea if he is trolling or not. With his other friends they all know that on camera he is always trolling.
