I actually found the ME2 files all the way back in 2023. My initial plan, was to somehow get the game to work or at least get the world to load in some way, and then make a video on it. Shockwave and Adobe Director is a nightmare though, So I never figured it out, and decided to just make the video anyways. Im so serious also, if you get this game to work let me know, I want to play. i want to play i want to play i want to play.

oh hey, i made that Lost Media Wiki page! i stumbled upon a commercial for ME2 whilst watching a commercial compilation, and i was immediately fascinated. this led me down a rabbit hole of trying to scrounge up any information and surviving media, then documenting my findings on the LMW. after that excursion, i figured i'd never see ME2 again, so seeing your video was a pleasant surprise! not only was it great to hear you share your experience as someone who played at the time, but you had files saved!! that's huge!!!! thank you so much for sharing all this, you've just opened the floodgates for a potential ME2 restoration!

Something similar happens to me as I see it in my mind, an Asian game that I found in the play store 8 years ago about white cats on an island, as a farm at the beginning, that could visit other islands if you achieved a level that gave you a ship and shoot fireworks in the shape of a cat. I have never found any photos or anyone who knows that game. I don't know the name either, but I loved it

Using a Sims 2 DS soundtrack as background music really fucks with my brain, that game was such a vibe. Loved the ambiance, buggy mess and for some reason very eerie when you think too much about it.

Never heard of this!! A lot of the toy-tied to online games were ported to sweden with swedish translated versions but i dont think this was one of them, its really fun to learn about more of them! Even if available info is lacking

I have this in green and have thought about it maybe once every 3 years haha. A lot of the appeal and mystique of ME2 is that chutes-and-ladders style that the level design has. Especially in the main treehouse. It feels like on every inch of the map there is a giant bridge or slide going all over the place! It felt like a giant playground structure. Its cool looking through the level art and seeing that all of that style is still so present. Whoever did the level design really did a great job. Its so concise and fun feeling. I really only remember walking around in this game, and i remember walking up to the vehicles trying to get something to happen. It was like the jetskis and cars were locked by something.

I was also super interested in virtual worlds as a kid and wanted to try it, but I never saw it in stores. I only ever saw the advertisements for it. It's super cool that we have some of the assets from it.

I remember being so excited to get a ME2 as a kid because it was heavily marketed on the TV but when I got it the game kinda sucked. All I remember from the game itself is the big tree and the jet skis. I could be misremembering but I think the jet ski was used exclusively? in a minigame where you did laps or went through rings. I also remember expecting the game to be multiplayer but I never ran into anyone else. The game was really big, empty, and boring so I stopped playing after the jet ski minigame. I definitely don't have the computer I used to play on but I'm sure I still have my ME2 in a bin somewhere. I had the white one with the blue buttons.

AH! That’s what I remember too! This is the second take I recorded, because the first I was very very harsh on the game cause I remember it being boring as hell! So it wasn’t just me!
