He is a pilot AND sings?? How lovely ❤❤ I'm sorry for his loss. Choir was a HUGE part of my life growing up, from elementary thru University. It's an important part of life, music is. Thank you for sharing!
So beautiful!! ❤ I think it’s so beautiful. I attended a private Christian school and we always sang in a car every Friday afternoon during the school day so very beautiful thank you for sharing.❤
What a beautiful tribute! I'm a singer and singing teacher and I'm hearing some wonderful voices in there. My mom was a soprano in a choir so this makes me emotional. Cause of surgery to her thyroid her voice was totally damaged (they accidentally damaged her vocal chords) and she could never sing again and had difficulty even talking. It was heartbreaking. Instead she would whistle which was the closest thing to singing for her. It was just terrible to watch her like that. She's not with us anymore.
This is such a beautiful tribute. It brings back such nostalgic memories of going to church as a little girl for me and listening to this made my heart sing. Thanks so much for sharing, Jeannie! ❤
Awww I was in the glee club in HS and took voice as electives in college. Thanks for sharing. Brings back memories. Please tell Zane I am sorry for his loss.
I imagine it felt very emotional for the singers. Reliving those days gone by. There’s a bond you feel with those choir day memories. How meaningful to the memory of the choir director. I could tell Zane is a bass.😊 As I know you’re an alto 2 (you mentioned it previously), have you both been a part of any community or church choirs since? I know I miss choir like something fierce (though it has been over 25 years ago. ❤
Thank you for this! Yes, hubby is a beautiful bass and used to sing with the SCSO - Sacramento Choral Society & Orchestra. I’m more of a casual singer - not the level of that skill! 😊💕 🎶
How absolutely amazing is this. May Harold rest in peace, clearly beloved by many. Music can be an incredibly healing and transcendent to experience and perform. So sorry for Zane's loss and grateful for your sharing this, Jeannie.
@@JeannieBASMR A lovely gesture, I know the late teacher would have appreciated it. My favourite teacher passed a few years ago and I still feel sad to think about it, she was the best person. A good teacher leaves an impression on a person long after they've finished school :)
