Large Family Living FRUGALLY in NZ!! I bought a HEAP of groceries and came under budget so very happy to get some bargains this week! Music Hook sounds "A Way For Me" "Pacific Sun"
Pics smooth peanut butter or marmite. My ultimate fave is boysenberry jam and proper butter on Vogel’s 😍 but I never have it because it’s not that great for me and I can’t stop at just two slices!
Ha! We're having chicken curry tonight too :) I'm really working on getting our weekly budget down to $200, but it's SO HARD! My husband is a carnivore to the max, and I must say so are all four boys.... meat is so expensive!
Faith Takes Practice Yum! Yeah meat and dairy are so expensive, makes me wanna go vegan! If your family love meat then you cpuld do what i do and make a bolognese or chilli and add just a bit of mince then bulk if up with lentils or beans and heaps of vege, in the end you don't notice much difference!
Lol that's EXACTLY what I do--last night was my big cook-up of nearly 3 kg of mince, but two broccoli, four carrots, a pot full of lentils, plus onion and capsicum and a ton of tomato puree. It lasts us nearly six meals, so definitely cheaper than a lot of meat options but still healthy.
