Pinterest has this zucchini ravioli dish. It is absolutely amazing. I promise you you would never know it was made with zucchini. My kids ate it and they are very picky.

No bowls but plastic? Plastic is terrible for the environment. Glass bowl are much better, you don’t have to have a ton. Or silicon bags.

I knew shepherds pie was lamb, so when I made it with ground beef, we started calling it cowboy pie. 😂 Glad to know there's an actual name for it. We might just keep calling it cowboy pie. 😉

After watching many of your videos recently, I want to say I appreciate so much your emphasis on folks being in different "seasons". So true. Often times programs/routines/lifestyles can seem overwhelming and demanding. It's important to understand minimalism looks different on each of us. But we will still benefit. Like when you mention keeping inventory, maybe some folks like to scrapbook, or I myself love cooking and am happy to maintain my extra inventory of cookware and spices. You do a great job making sure it doesn't seem like a cookie cutter lifestyle, but rather emphasize the benefits from the changes overall. Thank you!

Going gluten free completely helped my bestfriend with migraines and all over. She no longer gets migraines and does feel better all around. Weight loss was a bonus.

Love this, yes, do week 3. I love how you approach everything consistently from the "less is more" viewpoint. I like the idea to learn 4 or 5 weeks then put on repeat!

I ordered this after your video last week and we have been LOVING it. I am a vegetarian and my husband and children are not. Because of how it's structured, it's really easy for me for us to have the same meal but for me to use my own substitutes. It's been a game changer.

We love Shepherd's Pie in our family, and we always add extra veggies whenever we have them available. I make it in the crockpot and then we can freeze part of it and eat the rest (we're a 2 person household and sometimes take things to my grandma). Shepherd's Pie is made with lamb while Cottage Pie is made with beef.

I would love to see more recipes that you have tried. I just received the book but did not have a chance to really get into it. I love to cook but having a few meal recipes for during the week, would be great since I work full time. Love your videos with you, Cass, and Dana on decluttering. I have learned so....much from all of you. I am finally getting my house organized thanks to all three of you.

I would love to see more meal prep videos! I do meal planning, but I go through my recipes in my notebook and Pinterest. It is getting hard to plan out meals because I get tired of doing it. But it is nice to come home from work, knowing exactly what we are having for dinner. It would be great to already have the meal prepped and ready to cook. I'm going to have to check this cookbook out. Thank you so much for sharing! Blessings to you all!

If some super-prepper wants more meals, they can do two “sets” per week. Six meals, then leftovers would probably take care of night seven!

I thought the same thing! I prefer more variety for nutritional reasons, so I’d just space out the 3 meals and and do another set to mix in. Especially focusing on perhaps freezing some meals/elements for later use (like the meat).

Sadly there are 21 meals in each week (plus snacks) so 3 meals, or 6 meals don’t come anywhere close to “eating all week” 😢😢😢 rather sad that this is another let down for me. I am SO tired of meal planning! I really need a new system.

Meal planning is so stressful for me too!!! I think this book can really help with dinners, but have you seen her meal planning video? It’s a really simplified spreadsheet of only the meals you know well, and I added sections for breakfasts, lunches, and snacks. And reading through the comments on that video helped me realize that I do not need to constantly put out new and exciting meals. Thank you @The Minimal Mom!

I have been doing a version of this for many years. I am a nurse and worked 12 hour days...I cooked " batch cooking" which was making the base meat prep, veges, rice or noodles,, separating into storage containers then making the meal on the day only takes a 20 minute meal. I wish I had these ideas for variety.

I cut out gluten when I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism. It helped a lot. Now I’m mostly low-carb, but my family is just whole food eating as much as we can.

I have eaten Whole Food Plant Based (WFPB) for a year now and my health is better than it's ever been. I stopped telling people who asked about my diet bec their responses are so negative!

So we bought this book as soon as we saw the last video. I've already recommended it to everyone who will listen. So we didn't follow the meal plan exactly, but used the "ideas". Cooked up a roast in the instant pot; mashed potatoes; rice. Veg is super easy so we did that day to day. The meals have been fabulous and we've made it all week re-doing the same ingredients into completely different meals. So much fun.

Great video--thank you! I've always heard that Shepherd's pie is made with ground lamb, and cottage pie is ground beef. Good for you for finding ways to make home cooked meals happen! I have to eat gluten free due to an allergy, but the whole family eats that way now, and love it and feel better than when they used to eat gluten!

We have prepared about 16 of the weeks. We loved them all. The variety is great! I am only cooking for 2-3 most nights, so we usually end up with 2 dinners from each recipe.

Inspired over here. My oldest use to be extremely picky until I implement eat what's in front of you for dinner or go to bed early. She still is not a fan of anything green and most vegetables. My husband is also not much for cooked veggies. I'm so tempted to try this and see how they do

I’ve had this cookbook for a year and finally tried for the first time (procrastinate much?) I started with week 13 and it was absolutely delicious. (Big fail on Mom though, forgetting my youngest hates mushrooms and the tetrazzini was full of them. ) Was unsure about the spaghetti squash being a passable replacement for pasta. Very different but still tasted great. I’m going to try out the week you guys did with the Cottage pie this week. Enjoy your channel so much ❤️

I would love to know which weeks are the “winners” for your family. I bought the book and am struggling to find a single group of three recipes that most of our crew of 6 would enjoy (besides me who would love all of them). Please....teach your husband how to safely cut a potato! :) You place the FLAT SIDE DOWN....don’t try to cut a rocking potato piece!! I’m buying that book, thanks for showing it to us! :) Hopefully you will also consider using a bowl and not discarding and using plastic bags like that to coat potatoes (no judgy!)

Sourdough bread eliminates a lot of the gluten and other nutrient binders in the flour. Anytime you soak sprout and ferment a grain it unlocks the nutrients and makes it more digestible. Just thought I would share that. 😊

Wow picadillo is our mexican meal that we must eat once a week. My kids love it and even when I cook 2.5lb of meat plus potatoes and frozen Carrots and peas I never get leftover with my 4 boys. Picadillo (llo) is like (yo) I in english. We love picadillo in flour tortillas, lettuce and green or red salsa and a side of rice or beans for my hubby and kids and corn tortillas for me. Super healthy and filling for big families.

Bc of your last video of week one. I bought the book and glad I did! Before, the last year and half was making whole 30 dinners. My take on week one: my family thought the recipes were bland I guess to my usual ones which is surprisingly since my recipes were Pinterest but whole 30 dinners. Took 2 hours to meal prep. I guess was taking my time and kitchen was disaster. I’ve never done meal prep. However, loved the step by step and different ways to cook meat options. Way Plenty of food for family of 4. My youngest son (10) ate up the meals. And best was on cooking nights meals are quick hardly any clean up the rest of the week! Looking forward to next week. Thanks for recommending. (I wonder how many people bought her book bc of you😊)

Please keep these videos going. This book has intrigued me. I'm a recipe developer, but my week to week for feeding my family is a mess and we waste so much food. I'm not sure my broccoli hating husband could get behind this though and I've made a vow to not purchase a cookbook for the year of 2019! My collection is out of hand and I've already purged a lot!

Hi Dawn. I got this as soon as I finished watching your first video about it. I made the meals that you made in the video this week. They were all very good! I went through and picked out the weeks that I felt like we would like all the meals. There are about 10 weeks plus some of the other meals that we will be doing. It's so easy! I'm so excited! I bought the cookbook and then hurt my foot and couldn't walk until just a day or two ago. So I haven't been able to use the cookbook yet but love watching and hearing the feedback you give on the recipes. I would love to see each week you use the meal plan in this book!

After watching your last video, I went to my local library and checked out this book and made the first meal, I love this system so much I bought the book immediately. It's just me and my husband and he is military and I work in an ER and have 2 autoimmune diseases, so I am tired a lot. My life is changed. I just ordered this book based on your videos. I can’t wait to go shopping this weekend to get started. I plan on doubling recipes since we have 3 kids and 2 are teens. I’ll do 2 week plans for one week, totally 6 days of food and then leave one day for leftovers.

I love the concept of the cookbook. I may just try to incorporate it with our current meals. I’d be interested in the low carb options. We eat low carb/ keto, so no potatoes, no rice or corn that I saw in a few of the recipes you’ve made so far. You are so right in how much better you feel since eliminating gluten and for us all grains and sugar. It’s incredible how good I feel, life changing really!!

After watching your last video introducing this book, I went ahead & ordered it. Today I prepped Week 2 because we r not huge chicken fans. Where has this been all my life? I've tried bulk cooking, but the cost & array of food was overwhelming to me...except at Supper Thyme which was a meal prep place to go to that doesn't exist here anymore. We've been doing the Meal Kit services for 2 years. That helped me because I HATE the grocery store. I have more time now that my kids r graduated. This shopping trip was easy peasy! It was so quick I was sure I screwed up! I did, but not major. Can't wait for our first meal tomorrow!! TFS 💕

I’m loving that you are sharing this because I just bought the book and plan to start next week. We will definitely made some small changes such as my son doesn’t like mashed potatoes, or sweet patties when mashed or baked, but he likes potato/sweet potato wedges so I’ll just make extra wedges for him for those mash meals Just an FYI Shepherds pie is made with lamb, cottage pie if it’s other meat

Loving this series. Please do another week of recipes! It’s also nice to see how you and Tom may find a few ways to cut a few corners or adjust to the utensils you have on hand. (Btw, as a time saver...parchment paper is your best friend and worth the space it takes up in a drawer :)!

Dawn, I got the book on your recommendation and used it last week and this week and it has been great so far! I have tried other systems in the past and this seems like the first that makes sense for us. I got this book after seeing your week 1. Love love love! ! We did week 11 1st. We had so much food! 3 meals for 3 and lunch everyday! We also squeezed a 4th meal because I boiled extra Yukon gold and made Tater Squishes. Thanks for the intro to the book! I figured about 16 meals (lunch/dinner) for $55.

Hi I'm new about a month and let me tell you I'm obsessed with your videos. I love the organization you do but this book Is my way of cooking,I don't like to spend to much time cooking ,or expensive rare products that I don't normally eat. Love this recipe book I love to see more please

Hi , I would love to see you walk through the book. How do you choose what you are going to eat for the week? How do you then organise your shopping list so you have enough of each ingredients? Then how you order the groceries etc. The previous videos have been very helpful. thankyou so much
