I've consumed a lot of Soylent 2.0 bottles, and I can say that they taste something like toasted oat cereal. It's pretty mild, but they are very smooth and drinkable. They are addictively tasty with a little chocolate syrup.
personally its cheaper to try and get food from the dollar store during the apocalypse cause not many people will remember that it has food and will go straight to the walmart as i stroll on by the variety of foods.
I had to live on liquids without sugar or carbonated beverages for a month before I had gastric bypass surgery. I had to drink 4 of the protein shakes daily and I tried them all! The only way a few, a very few were palatable were to freeze them and drink them as they thawed into a slushy consistency. I have been drinking one a day since and nope, they still suck.
Soylent (original) tastes kind of like milk left over after cereal. It’s made to be more bland so you don’t get sick of the flavor. It’s great for people with with digestive issues.

Well this video is about taste testing, not life stories. They might not want to share everything going on in their private lives. If you miss their older videos, then just go back and watch them again. That's what I do. People do change over time, some more than others. And it's just to accept that. And be thankful for the videos you get, what if they cancelled GMM completely?

As a lactose intolerant i'd love to see them guess which is lactose and which is lactose free :) Examples would be like normal ice cream vs lactose free ice cream or lactose free milk and regular milk
