Hi. I've been researching a lot to buy a good stainless steel pot electric cooker in India. Came across Instant Pot, however it's sold triple the price in India and electric conversion and customer support issues are there as it's a USA product. Finally, I've came to know about Mealthy and decided to buy this after doing a little bit of research. I've just purchased now (4:29 am😁) a 3ltr one using your code. I've got a better discount than Amazon. Thank you very much 😊. Please post a link regarding that amp converter too in the video which you are using. Also it would be of a great help for the users, if you mention about registering for warranty on their official website. I have no idea about my socket type about the amps, how to know? Also the company claims that power plug is as per Indian standards, so still we require this converter? Also not but the least, does the manual mention about pressure check with hot water for the first time like instant pot? Please, also post a video regarding the readiness
Neel K thanks for watching the video. The Amp converter is something I bought from a local hardware shop. It’s a normal 6-16 Amp converter. I will update the description box with a link to buy it online. The socket is as per Indian standards which means it has round pins and not the USA straight pins. Normally all our sockets are 6 amp but for some appliances like fridge, Washing machine the plugs are bigger. Those are 16 amp. Mealthy Multipot has a similar big size plug. You do not need a voltage converter, Multipot is mode to operate on 220volts. In the video I have shown a startup guide where it says how to start how to check, that leaflet has instructions for the water test. I will be posting videos on recipes using Mealthy multipot an I will answer a few questions in those videos and if there are more questions I will make a separate Review video to answer those questions. So keep watching my channel For the answers
@@bunchofsomestuff427 Thank you very much for the reply. Subscribed and waiting eagerly for the cooking videos with Mealthy and others 😊. Understood regarding the amps now. Hope you will be post a video regarding the pressure test too. I've seen few people talking about the gasket catching the smell in instant pot videos, I remember someone spoken the same for Mealthy while unboxing as well. generally it's not a point that we mention with our regular pressure cooker gasket, does it catch smell ?
I have started shooting for Mealthy recipes and will be posting videos starting coming weekend. I will make it a point to shoot a video for the pressure test. Once I use this for a couple recipes I will be in a better position to comment on the gasket catching smell. So I will be telling you that on the review video that I make. I will also be filming how to clean the Mealthy pot.
@@bunchofsomestuff427 Hi. I got my product delivered today. Seems there is a new product which is not available in India Mealthy pot 2.0 ☹️ when ur doing a pressure test or some cooking video please talk about it. It has automatic self sealing lid & programmable pressure/steam release. I didn't understand them.
Neel K hi. Yes multipot 2.0 is not yet available in India. I will try to collect some information on it and will talk about it. From what I know so far, there is a button where you can select if you want manual pressure release after cooking or natural release. If you select the manual option then once the cooking is done the pressure will be released immediately(automatically). I have posted a video on water test so check that if you have any doubts in water test.
In most and every gas Pressure Cooer , the round gascut get damages frequently, and can purchase. But in case of Mealthy pressure cooker fram where we can buy “Silicon Gascut” if get damage.?
Not sure about offline shops. But they do provide service. They have pickup service pan India and they repair the product or replace if it’s beyond repair and deliver it back to you. All with just a call to the customer care. I have personally experienced this and hence can say go for it.
Of course you can! Just use an adapter or get an electrician to change the switch to 16amp. Like the washing machine n fridge ones. Go through the unboxing video, I have shown the adapter there
Hi. Good video. Question: You can only open the lid after you turn it off ? right ? and then what if I accidentally, released the pressure by raising the whistle instead of turning it to the left ? Thank you for your help.
Thank you, To answer your question, you can open the lid when the pressure valve drops, you don’t need to turn it off. Just make sure the pressure inside is completely released just like a normal pressure cooker. If u accidentally raise the whistle you can get the steam on your hand and hurt yourself. I am sure you won’t do that it’s very easy to remember turn it to left and not raise it.
Use karke recipes k videos uploaded hai Channel pe. Mujhe ye product company se mila hai demo k liye. Product acha hai. Mere Chanel pe aisehi ek Aur product ka video bhi hai. Aap vo video bhi dekhiyr n fir decide kijiye aapko kaunsa pasand hai. Shops me shayad croma me hai
how's the experience of using it over the past 1 year? can it fully replace the standard traditional pressure cooker in our kitchen? Also, how is the after sales service? I see no service centre in my city Nagpur, the nearest being in Mumbai..should that bother me?
Hi Akshay, my experience has been wonderful so far. I haven’t used my traditional pressure cooker other than when I have to make many things simultaneously (by many I don’t mean dal rice, these two I make in Mealthy together) so yes it has replaced my cooker completely. About after sales service, they are very helpful. That have pan India pickup and drop service for repairs and replacement In case the product is beyond repair. So you need not worry about the service Centre.
