I studied special education for a bit but I was never taught these things which I find very important, as someone who wants to be an exemplary teacher in this area, I thank you very much for this video, without it, I would've never known this. P.s.: I wish that y'all uploaded much more stuff like this though, in my opinion, your content from recent years hasn't been as informative, concise and accessible, you'd greatly benefit from returning to making videos such as this one.
I am totally blind and I actually learned the sighted way growing up. I don’t have anyone telling me what I am eating or where things are. The food is in front and I sit down to eat it and their I go. Easier than having to sit their and give a story just about about where things are at this time on this side I mean just eat…… it is so simple and if a blind child learns an early age then they will get it. As far as spaghetti, I just take a fork and twirl it. Then, I will cut down using the side of my fork.
