About Mean Girls (2024):
This film follows former homeschooled student Cady Herron as she navigates the culture of a public high school. As she navigates, she becomes engulfed into the world of the plastics (a group of popular girls in that school) who are led by "queen bee" Regina George. As she acclimates to the world view of the plastics, she becomes engulfed in a quest to take down Regina and must fight to not lose herself along the way.
This film was directed by Samantha Jayne and Arturo Perez Jr. (in their directorial debuts). With a screenplay by original writer Tina Fey, the film stars Angourie Rice, Renee Rapp, Auli'i Cravalho, Christopher Briney, Tina Fey, Tim Meadows, and Jenna Fischer
