This wedding. Wow. It’s hard to find the words for how special it was, not only to witness but to capture on film. As soon as Rianne booked me and told me how meaningful their wedding date was, I knew I had to spend extra time and attention on this film to try and portray the significance of Loving Day - not only to Rianne and Jerryd but to everyone. If you don’t know the story of Richard and Mildred Loving, this video will give you a little more insight to the meaning of their marriage, but I encourage you to read more about the Lovings. I am so grateful for the equality that we all have today because they didn’t stop fighting.
Now back to Rianne and Jerryd. This day was so emotional, so meaningful, so beautiful, so sweet and SO FUN!! I wanted this film to portray all of those aspects which is why it’s over 12 minutes long - definitely my longest yet. I laughed and cried so much while creating this one and I hope you enjoy!
