Fantastically detailed procedure Drew. Made it so clear and makes it look easy. Gonna go do my forks this arvo and this is _really_ helpful. Also.... (whispers) "looks like blood..."
Great video, also works essentially without modification for the forks on the 2002 919. Pretty sure mine are stock, and this series was a lifesaver in changing the fluid out.
Thanks for the video. I have a damper for a k1100lt. When I raise and lower it fluid does not come out of the tip like in this video. Do you think something is wrong with it? I am under the impression that each tube has a slightly different damper, one for compression and the other for absorption. Could this be why?...
Nevermind. I think the answer is the k1100 does not have a hole all the way through. I tried to stick a guitar string down and only went a couple centimeters. Thanks again.
Hello HONDA CB900F 919 ...... front shocks were changed after the 2004 model ...... years 2005, 2006 and 2007 are completely different to the ones you are fixing in this video - well done BUT those are NOT the parts for a 2006 Honda 919 - thanks,
@@DrEwBaBy625 thanks a lot for the video and the information - perhaps the best available - have to replace the top blue 24mm part - any idea where i will be able to buy it ? honda parts only have the 2002 to 2004 model parts ...... the blue one with the adjuster was introduced after 2006 - many many many thanks - Rafael.
