Measuring settling time with a PA2201A IntegraVision Power Analyzer is very quick and accurate. In the past a digitizer and shunt was used to make accurate measurements. It was time consuming to post process the data from the digitizer to determine the measurement. Using an oscilloscope and a shunt was easier to setup but lacked the accuracy that the digitizer provided. The power analyzer provides both the accuracy and the ease of setup the measurement.
