Meat Loaf when giving interviews had a great sense of humor, very charismatic, intelligent and funny, a great unique and special human being... But he left us very soon... Rest in peace dear Meat.
A few weeks ago, I posted a comment (now deleted) in regard to the interview itself. Someone replied, and we "chatted" back and forth here. Then she posted personal contact info in the replies, aiming to continue the conversation elsewhere. A woman saw her info and contacted her; pretended to be me (they texted back and forth on a private platform); said her son was sick; then asked for money. I just wanted to alert people that someone is on here doing this (and from what I can tell, is subscribed to pages devoted to Meat Loaf). [If this is the wrong platform to post this... there really is no other way to do it -- I tried.]
I remember seeing Mr Meat Loaf & Phil Lynott appears on UK TV one early morning, I bet those 2 boys had a good long chat together before and after the show
It’s disgusting how everybody’s first mention in an interview is always his weight. Who cares? Like, come on. That has nothing to do with his talent. And also, celebrities have feelings too. Be better, and be more creative.
Ok Meat was notorious for lying during during interviews especially when it concerned the origin of that name. I’ve heard each story and they are are genius, although preposterous, and he knew how outlandish he could be and I’m sure that was part of the reason he loved doing it 😅the story that came closest to the truth was the version in which his father , looking down on his son, decided he resembled 13lbs of ground chuck and demanded hospital staff have a plate saying MEAT a put this on the named plate on his hospital crib he was put in the center of the babies to make sure all the attention was on HID kid There are snippets of truth in this icee of nonsense but certainly not the BIG truth! Think about it! Not gonna say one more word about this. If he chose to keep it from the public I’ll just keep it quiet too😢
@@martiwest2594 I guarantee the story about his dad is the real story. If it wasn't and he's the one who actually gave himself that name, I'm gonna laugh because that is genius. Point the finger to someone else. I'm a writer myself. Do you want to hear what I came up with of how Meat got his name?
Interviewer: Are women attracted to men like you? Me: People don't have to be into you romantically. People are interested in people as in friend, family and just meeting them and never seeing them again. You know " that person is a very nice person. " So he has women in his life who love him the way he is. Weight has NO RELEVANCE in who and if people are attracted to you. It's about your personality, your interests which is part of a reason why it's called a marriage. You can't marry someone who mostly doesn't have the same interests as you. if you can make people laugh which I see he does. Whether you love them for who they are. He was a very loyal person. Weight has NO RELEVANCE to a relationship. Meat, Madonna has a song called Like A Prayer. I know what the song is really about but I see it as you are not what you see. People who have lost weight, there mind still hasn't caught up yet they have lost it and it's gone. So that's why I say to you and heck to the interviewer You are not what you see. He is not what you see. I know I keep posting on this one and not the other ones that brought up his weight but this one just makes mind blown. It pisses me off. I'm believe it or not appalled at all of them but this one just ends it for me.
The late late show in all its glory with Gay Byrne it's really a shadow of its former self and should have ended as soon as Gay Byrne stood down as host.
Gay is an embarrassment..insulting, and downright rude! I actually can’t believe what I just watched. Meat had more talent, charisma, personality, charm and humbleness in his little fingernail than Mr Byrne could ever wish to dream of having..
