This is still one of the coldest scenes ever...it just felt like since we watched how this unfolded we knew exactly what he was talking about. The writing on this show is amazing...and Ghost is still the best character from the universe for sure.

Ngl when I saw this scene of Mecca telling Tariq about Lobos that shocked the hell outta me frfr and I still can’t believe that Mecca knew Ghost and Tommy that scene was crazy

Man Power could have been soooooo much better with the storylines but they fucked up once it got too daytime soap opera with swearing lol like lobos the first season was crazy ruthless plug then they turned him into some homosexual you couldn’t take serious. They fumbled a lot of good characters, plots and storylines smh Raising Kanan still is the best overall show in the Power Universe hands down
Still don’t understand 3 things from this scene, 1. How does Mecca know Tariq was the one who killed ghost? 2. How does Mecca know “Uncle Tommy”? As far as I’m concerned only the family know he calls tommy “uncle” 3. And lastly how does he know ghost killed lobos? Ghost hired a hitter in prison to do staby stab on Lobos and made it look like Jimenez ordered the hit but he didn’t die. But they pretended that whoever ordered the hit was successful and froze his assets. Only a few inside people knew he was still alive which dosent make sense to me.

And he did kill him in a field with Tommy but everyone thought lobos was dead anyway, because of the hit in prison, did u not see when ghost had the meeting with Jimenez and said we will make people find out that u take credit for kills u did not do, and no it’s literally the family that knows he calls tommy “uncle” go watch the show again dude
Mecca worked for Lobos and did his homework on others that also worked for him including Ghost and Tommy so he already knew they were pretty much brothers, making Tommy an uncle to Tariq. Mecca is also a snitch now so he works with feds and news traveled that Tariq killed Ghost since Saxe recorded his confession in the cemetery. Also feds kept Lobos alive after the initial attack so Mecca was looped in since he was working for the feds and the one feeding info on Lobos.
He wouldn’t know. It’s just dramatization for the character. It’s only three people who knew about the demise of Ghost. Tommy, Tasha and Tariq. Mecca don’t have access to Tasha and we know Tommy ain’t saying anything so it’s just nonsense they he would know these things.
He didn’t KNOW Ghost. He just knew that Ghost had something to do with Lobos’s murder. Which is why he told him to thank him. Cause if Lobos was alive he would’ve killed Mecca for being a mole.
Mecca and Ghost are brothers. I remember on episode of power Tommy asking ghost abt his crazy brother who was in special force in the military. It’s a lot of shit we gon be surprised abt tht they be been dropping hints on from the first Power. I think Kanan is Tariq pops not ghost. And Ghost not dead.
Lobos was the reason the feds got onto Ghost. Either way..Angela was going to come across Ghost. It was best for him to be in contact with her before they met with her trying to lock him up.

I don’t know about that. None of the big dawgs had anything for Ghost. Mecca wasn’t as big as the top dawgs that Ghost and Tommy took out. He would have been light work.
Just a theory but we might see Mecca in raisin kanan think about it he said to tariq tell ur dad Dante says hey not Mecca he grew up in queens and Is two years younger than ghost. Also I thought Blanca gave Mecca the info on tariq but I’m season three she mentioned she didn’t have a clue of how they knew each other. Another thing Mecca mentioned he got arrested maybe selling on a corner for kanan who knows what do you guys think?
Ghost and Tommy won't be in raising kanan that leak with him and Angela would never see the light of day now cause it got leaked so no young ghost or Tommy anymore unless they switch up things in that scene maybe not in a school setting and maybe they meet somewhere else 😕
The funny part of the show is how no matter how smart of a businessman or how deadly of a killer people tell Tariq, his father was he never listened. He felt he was just better, and Tasha was the one running everything....
Tasha bitterness rubbed off on tariq which I could understand, as a boy(man) your going to protect your mother. Tasha put tariq in a position that he had to choose sides
