Mech Invasion! - 3 3/3 Mech Battlecry: Magnetize all friendly mechs onto this minion. We haven't seen a Megnetic card like this, have we? I don't think it's really strong, but I haven't really seen a spin on Magnetic Mechanic on a while.

Since Ben Brode left us you are the only one who can bring hype into these expansions. Without you I wouldn't even play Hearthstone. Thank you so much Kripp for your amazing work (and also Rania) ♥

i find it strange that kripp did not mention the synergy between crystallizer and nethersoul buster... thats a 1/3 + a 6/5 at turn 4.

Celestia of course goes in unicorn priest, turning it into alicorn priest.

I predict a huge resurgence of silence with this new expansion.

Topsy Turvey is essentially an equivalent effect to inner fire in an inner fire deck. You could also always just use it to trigger something like pyromancer or questing adventurer. The problem with inner fire decks is always trying to get the only 2 copies of inner fire in your hand from your deck. This offers yet another way of getting a similar effect for OTKs. Especially if they use skulking geist on you. You can also kill any minion with 0 attack with it.. like eggs, or unpowered steambot or doomsayer. I think a good use for it would just be turning a tar creeper into a 5/1 attacker whenever you want. It'd also be fun to shadow madness a voidlord and then topsy turvey it into their face. Especially after doubling it's health.

An idea for goblin bombs could work like this. You load up your board with goblin bombs on turn 7, then on turn 8 you can combo necromechanic and void ripper for an immediate 4 damage per bomb.

Spirit Bomb is a crazy card for Wild Even Warlock and will replace Darkbombs in that deck. It answers Totem Golem and Hench-Clan Thug, it accelerates you towards playable Molten Giants and buffed Hooked Reavers, it upgrades your spellstones, can't wait!

The issue with Mechano-Egg is that once it dies, the 8/8 Robosaur is also a mech. So Kangor's Endless Army may summon the 8/8 without any mech upgrades, which can potentially ruin any possible combos the Paladin has in mind. Not that it's bad to resurrect an 8/8 with a 7-mana spell, but there are other stronger magnetic synergies.

12:37 Crystallizer is meant to go with Nethersoul Buster on turn 3 or 4. Most often it will be more threatening than a 3/5, it'll be like a 4/5 on average and often a 5/5 or a 6/5.

I found it confusing at first that Zerek, Master Cloner didn't get his own proper review. Kripp just had him in the background while going over Extra Arms, and that was it! I didn't even recognize Zerek as a card until I thought "What was the other Priest Legendary in this expansion?", and eventually revisited all of Kripp's Boomsday Card Reviews all over again.

These cards and the rest of the set have me excited. I find it interesting to see how they all play into Odd or Even decks. That's one thing a lot of RU-vidrs havent covered...

Are you out of your mind Kripp? Think about Crystallizer on Warlock and Warrior. It's a starting boost in armor for Warrior removal, and it is an AMAZING trigger for self damage and missing health based cards for the Warlock, and allows it to "heal itself even when full health".

Crystallizer is a fantastic "armour trigger" for Warrior for say Shield Slam and Reckless Flurry (even things like Mortal Strike benefit from a "no net loss" health reduction).

Atleast thijs can now play milhouse so the reaper can pull it out for free and thus again break the meta kappa

Magnetic is not going to be part of the meta. It focuses on building single big guys which are easily handled by removal and silence.

All I have to say is that if Kripp doesn't try to cram every goblin bomb that he can into a deck and make it work then he is no longer the zany man i thought he was.

Boomzooka can also summon things like Kathrena or 7 mana deathrattle summon an 8 drop. That's REEEAAALLLYYY powerful.

I feel like people are kinda missing a big issue with magnetic. You get 1 mana 1/3 mechs in two classes that focus on mechs. AMAZING. Then look at the follow-up. There isn't a single 2 mana mech with magnetic in the set. Hell, the cheapest you get is for 3 mana only for Hunter. So you have to sit on that 1/3 or any other mechs you follow up with until turn 4 before you can even start doing something with magnetic. And even then, it's stuff like 2/4 Taunt, Divine Shield. Not particularly aggressive, I'm sure you'll agree. It's not until you get to FIVE mana where you get an aggressively stated magnetic minion with War Gear. It sounds to me like you play 1 mana mech, then you play 2 mana mech...waiting, waiting...you play 3 mana mech...still waiting...4 mana you maybe magnetise...and then 5 mana BAM, War Gear. At which point Even Shaman and Odd Rogue are dining on your intestines. You'd have to run the 2 mana 1/2 that discounts your mechs in hand to make that go faster...only then you're playing a 2 mana 1/2 in a zoo-ish deck. The cards just don't line up at all.

Abomination can clear those bombs and there was another Abomination that was released a few expansions ago. I can't remember the name of him but I'm pretty sure you guys know what card am I talking about. When that card dies it deals 5 damage to your bored. There are a lot of ways to clear the Goblin bombs. but since the hunter has a card like a necromechanic and the new legendary Flark, that produces 4 of these bombs. we're probably going to see a Goblin Bomb Hunter down the way.

Topsy Turvy can act effectively as a 0 mana inner fire on any minion with more than 0 attack or as removal assistance, and for rogues who steal the card somehow it acts as a combo starter.

The deal 6 split damage to your minions actually could work pretty well with a recruit warrior with patrons, rots face and gunspire.

3 mana 4/4 already came out in Naxxramas, remember those duel swords that had deathrattle, give opponent a card

On the topic of flarks boom-zooka. An 8 mana Savannah high and with rush is pretty decent of a card. Getting that and 2 other minions with rush, at the cost of not being able to target, is pretty good when you build your deck around it. Better than nerfed call of the wild. Solid card, probably not broken though.

so what happens when you silence a minion that has a mech magnetized to it? PS: I'd like to advocate for spirit bomb. It's almost like a 2 mana 4/1 weapon that can ignore taunt, is immune to ooze minions, and can kill minions with more than 4 attack without taking more than 4 damage. It's only weaknesses are counterspell, spells/minions that increase spell cost, and the trogg cards in wild. Spell damage would also buff it's minion damage without buffing the self inflicted damage (i hope)

Weird for him to 'miss' the Spirit Bomb + Nethersoul Buster combo. Turn 5 you Spirit Bomb your opponents 4 health minion (Strider for example) and then play a 3 mana 5/5. That seems good.

I don't think Necromechanic is Power-creep at all. It costs more mana (+ 2 attack - 1 Health), and with that extra cost you mostly gain stats. Now in a hunter deck it's admittedly good for a card like this to represent more of a threat on it's own in addition to its effect when deathrattles trigger, BUT let's not forget that since then a lot of powerful deathrattle's have left the standard format - namely Sylvanas.

I wanna see how the goblin bomb OTK combo deck will work could be pretty fun even if not that great

What happens if you play test subject and lady in white? Do your test subjects then give you an inner fire? 🤔

If anything, I think the card art for this expansion is pretty good.

i think cloakscale is a very powerful aggro/ quest paladin cardjust for the fact that its cheap, and is very likely to survive anything because of the divine shieldforsenT specimen

Nethersoul Buster will be incredibly good, said the same thing about Darkshire Councilman and it turned out to be a Zoo staple

Imo, Kripp is really overhyping some of these cards and theoretical decks. Like mech Hunter still seems like 3 times weaker to deathrattle Hunter.

the druid card is 7/8 worth of stats across 3 bodies for 6 mana... that's.. already quite good. also the boom zooka.. interesting... I don't think it's playable at8 mana, but it's probably nearly a board clear + all deathrattles in many circumstances.

dire wolf alpha isn't the obvious synergy with goblin bombs.. void ripper is.

Lol Goblin Bomb was release at the same times as hunter legend minion, and kripp sees it now. Also if I get the hunter legend minion, I go goblin bomb hunter.

Play flark on 7. He may die or not, but next turn necromechanic and voidripper into 16-21 face damage and 1-2 aggressive minions on board

If you play the 2 mana 2/5 mech and then the magnetize the 3 mana 1/5 taunt on top of it you can have a 2/10 taunt on turn 3. That's like aggro's worst nightmare

These mech decks are going to need a LOT of card draw if they intend to use the magnetic effect at all.
