Mecha's size comparison from various series (actually not everything is mecha lol) Hatsune Miku was used as the standard height for the comparison. Btw, i do not own this video.
@@ambrosincarolinas the newspaper is folded for 100 times make it unbelievably thick. Obviously it is impossible to do so but numerically it is that thick. Taking a newspaper as 0.1mm thick, it will become 0.0001*2^100m thick, which is 1.27e26 meters. So that is not a joke but a theoretical outcome which is impossible.
Deafening Echo Bigger then reality at the end it seems...I mean it standing made the universe splash....even if you don't think it's a good anime that is pure awesome
+marco rodriguez C'mon, dude. We all know Elder God Demonbane can't be used as example since it can grow indefinitely and the laws of physic don't apply to him.
Actually both songs are Gurren Lagann, so really it knew right from the beginning. I wonder how many people who haven’t seen Gurren Lagann are just like “bruh”.
Seeing how it would take the light trillions of years to reach from one end of the mecha to them its likely that they didnt see anything but a constant blue wall.
When you’ve seen too many mecha anime to remember which belongs to which series, but if there’s one thing you know is that you’re certain this video is going to end with Gurren Lagann
I understand that a lot of people complain about the TTGL fanboys, but think about it like this: Gurren Lagann is a tribute to nearly 100 years of super robots. If that isn't a grand thing, I don't know what is.
Vandora Gurren Lagann always opens up with the Phrase "This is the story of a man..." And like you say, I'd like to think that, by not explicitly saying who this man is (No matter how blatantly it may point to Simon) refers to all Protagonists that fall under this genre.
I can agree with you on that. I liked the art design of the anime it was well made when it came out. I loved how it started. that was my biggest turn on for most of the anime I seen.
What you sayin' about Gurren Lagann fans? I will open the gate that holds the millions upon hundreds of millions of GL fans upon you. Deal with your existence being obliterated. DED
i think this has much to do with the gurren lagann music and the timed scrolling of the mechas to match the music (especially at the tengen toppa part). tengen toppa is great!
@@revolvingworld2676 you think you are bigger because you stand in 2 legs, but I dont think you have 300kg of muscle mass, a tiger is definetely bigger than any human
+Avery Blackcloud If you look very carefully, you can see her before Earth showing up. For a good amount of time, she is just a little tiny grey dot, and sometime get covered by numbers. But since earth showed up with a black curtain effect, you can't see her anymore in the darkness. So she... is in space... somewhere... around earth...
TTGL can posibly grow infinetly like Demonbane can, but that would cause the spiral nemesis. Anyways, so far, Demonbane's infinite size will always win.
What happens when you put a mech inside a mech inside a mech inside a mech inside a mech inside a mech inside a mech? Super Galaxy Gurren Lagann, that's what.
Except Diebuster covered up a singularity in the palm of her hands that was going to cause a second Big Bang and is five million meters taller in scale than Super Galaxy. :^)
paulo alves I know. I saw the show. I do like TTGL but I find the series and its titular robot to be overrated and too OP for my tastes. It was awesome once yeah but after awhile its just meh, whatever that's cool.
Channel for comments You know, I really hate when people say that to me. I enjoyed the series fine for what it was using even the smallest portions of my mental capacity while watching it. That still doesn't change the fact that its overhyped/rated as Hell and there are better mecha/anime in general out there IMO. It's a favorite, but its not something I'm absolutely in love with and I refuse to associate myself with its absolutely retarded fanbase who worship Kamina and constantly quote the series while showing their complete ignorance toward any other series of its caliber that came before and did what TTGL did better.
+sebastian quintero Thats how tall a a pice of paper would apparently (I don't know for sure I have better things to do that check the math for myself) be if you could fold it 100 times and then stand it up.
prizegotti No, trust me theres still quite more powerful mecha for example shin mazinger zero: a reality manipulator HELL when activated, Demonbane: Undefeatable, Omnipotent, can be infinite size, and my description is barely describes all his powers he literally could defeat STGGL like it was nothing. Theres getter emperor which is debatable since he does a canon with power equivalent to a Big Bang (also where gurrwn lagann got its idea of spiral powers fueling man's evolution)
Jetfire48 You forget, Gurren Lagann is all about doing the impossible. Just who the hell do you think they are? Knowing them, they'd just combine with an entire universe or something and form Super Super Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann or something to that effect and win
Waking up at 5:30 due to your lack of ability to sleep on any sort of meaningful schedule and watching this video is an experience. Really gets you ready for the day.
I love the fact this video included so many different mecha, because this video could also work as a way to recommend different mecha anime to the viewers. That said, I'm also happy it included the Infinity Silhouette from Heartcatch Precure, one of the best magical girl anime. Also, Super Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann is huge!
Jetfire48 That's like someone asking "who can think of the biggest number" and you saying "infinity", sure maybe it's technically true but you're missing the point
Well in the spiral universe since they broke free from our regular one, anything is possible. Lord genome even said thought becomes will here and he created his own body within the mech. Simon literally becomes god and can do whatever he wants at that point.
ultimate cancer cell but who sets out thinking "you know what, I'm going to produce a giant drill bigger than the universe so I can get rid of those pesky cosmic beings"
Some brilliant person composed this: cook the uncookable bake the unbakeable bro bro pass the flour Smoke the unsmokable Sniff the unsniffable Whoa, Whoa, cocaine powder. wash the unwashable clean the uncleanable bro bro take a showa
Remember my favorite mecha fans if you’re ever doing power scaling and someone says STTGL isn’t powerful send them this it doesn’t matter at this point size wins
Pretty much, the only things that can stack up are universe busters, multiverse busters, timeline busters, beings that can do Omni-king level attacks, and finally beings who can do things even higher than that. After Omni-king level attacks, it becomes kinda hard to describe just how devastating the attack was since were talking about outer-versal areas. But yeah, once something gets to STTGL levels of big it’s kinda hard to see anything less than a Goku, Superman, and/or completely livid asura the destructor be able to destroy it. While beings like the Scarlet King, although are counted as mid tier in their verse, are just a tad too powerful.
@B-system Wait, are we talking about STTGL or Scarlet King as being outerversal? Both? I wrote a main post in this comment section about a year ago on the calculation for STTGL based off not the perceived universe, but rather the believed actual size of the space. And although I did state some possible entities who could beat STTGL, I wouldn’t want to make it into a whole power scaling topic. Sorry...
7:42 Whoa, you even included that scientific paper in which they mention a cluster of quasars that's about 1/3-1/4 the size of the universe (from its most distant points), I might have underestimated how big the TTGL was.
I know I know, it's the approximate they've come up with for that structure, not the universe, though that's big enough for that kind of structure, big enough to question some things about our current understanding of cosmology, the universe is assumed to be approx. 14 billion years old, the Super TTGL is 45 billion, how can it stand between universes? That's beyond my reasoning XD
TheSLK66 Actually no, the age of the Universe is that much, but we can see things farther than 14 billion light years, because of the Doppler effect and proof of that would be the redshift. I won't go into more details, but I could if you can't find the info on Google.
Momchil Momchilov Dude, the red-shift effect is merely the shift in wavelength if a body emitting radiation is drawing closer or getting far from you, you can't see things beyond 14 billion years because you can only detect radiation... If we could detect gravitational waves it would be an entirely different matter (we could get information from stars previous to their collapse and maybe even the big bang), I don't consult google, I consult several books, the age of the universe sends you back to the big bang, proof of that is the cosmic wave background radiation, and even still you can't see the beginning of the big bang, not through the study of incoming radiation at least, you can't see other universes, to reach them you need (theoretically) wormhole tunnels that lead to another universe through a double-singularity (theoretically).
TheSLK66 Wait, you are right, I just reminded myself that light (I am pretty sure it is a kind of electromagnetic radiation) will always go at the speed of light and won't go slower only because of the doppler effect, that is the reason for redshifting. Gosh, I can be such a dumbass at times.
amazing how the first gurren lagan anime mecha, is something that can be used as a regular mode of transportation, and fit into your garage (Just realized Transformers can do that XD, but you get the idea) and then it turns into something AS BIG AS UNIVERSES!!!!!!
just a small correction for everyone present Lord Genome was shown to be able to make a galaxy sized version of his Lazengann that absorbed a big bang attack, made with the combination of two universes If Lord Genome can, why can’t Simon, who has infinitely more than he does?
The entire time I was just saying to myself. "Nothings going to be bigger than Super Tengen Toppa. Nothing." Well didn't take into account his own drill.
After a while I was just vibing to Libera Me From Hell... and crying. You will be missed, character who died way too fucking early that I can't mention because of spoilers (if you even care about that since you're on this video) but who we all know the identity of.
Legit, I let this play in the background to try to find the thickness of a newspaper. After failing, I went back to the video and that the the exact next image to come up.
HAHAHA I honestly forgot about Super Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann. So when I saw Tengen Toppa I thought "You can't get any bigger than hi--OH CRAP YES YOU CAN XD"
I always thought the actual size of TTGL scaled to the planet on the anti spiral's forehead. This would have followed the trend of each gurren lagann being in the head of one another, as the galaxy gurren lagann is planet sized. That they were only standing and throwing galaxies at each other because those were only props in the antispiral's artificial space, not actual galaxies, lol.
No the home world is upscaled and larger than most other planets. While they were indeed in a super spiral dimension the sizes of everything were accurate. Remember how large Grazenbozma’s hand was when it was reaching out to the Earth? Yeah.
@@exoteche6706 Yeah, that hand actually looked way smaller than it looked with a planet the size of a bean on the forehead, lol. Made earth look like it's the size of an apple in comparison.
+Skabbalabba dingdong if you clean your mind and think it again while relaxed you will see that gurren lagan sucks...i loved it vut come to think of it its out of logic with stupid plot
***** *the best If you're going to tell me something I have watched, rewatched, thought about, watched again and talked about extensively is bad, try to give some sort of reasoning. You're not convincing anyone.
I love how the lagann went to some random ass robot smaller than me to literally the definition of over existential and non-existential plane of existence combined going even further the concept of ultimate infinite
Leave it to Gainex to make the biggest and most baddest robots in existence... A lot of people out there be like "Who would win, Goku or Superman?", and I'm just like "Bitch, Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann kick both their asses at the same time."
Not really. Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagan wouldn't even be able to see them much less be able to crush them. It would be like you or me trying to crush a single molucule, can't be done on purpose, maybe by accident but even then unlikely.
Urbarask Praetor Okay it's canon that the extent of power in DBZ is destroying a galaxy, which is what Bill can do at full power. TTGL can round them up, in its hands like grains of rice, and eat them. It's over.
Urbarask Praetor I realize you've only seen 5 animes and are a DBZ fanboy, but goku at his strongest couldn't make an energy blast bigger than what would be much thinner than a needle compared to us and it wouldn't get all the way through either. That's realistic for you.
