Its the same concept on old sbc and sbf V8s when a dual plane intake would increase the low end torque and a single plane intake would help top end power. There was compromise there with the single planes being a bit sluggish at rpms below 2500
so where does the initial air come from? i can see it's a vacuum force of air expulsion, but I wasn't sure where the initial air is harbored before the vacuum process
reflected air from hitting the valve, reflects in the plenum and back into the runners at the exact time when next intake phase begins and helps the air accelerate easily. (Resonance)
