Great videos! Really informative! Question: For the string attached to two ends with no sag. What is the force that opposes the weight force Wx?

If there is not sag then T becomes infinite.

The tension force counteracts it to some degree

I would have thought your diagrams can be improved . I don't why the pole support to the right is not on a horizontal plane with thw left one. The mathematics is ok. It's the visualisation.

yes, for that reason, we have changed our filming approach on the newer videos. (at least with computers you can move forward and backwards to determine the content)
