VW Bus was the best Used Car Lot Video. Inspection and undercoating going on in the background. A little more here and there it's good to Go. What kind of warranty? Tail light warranty for sure, the best we offer sir.😂
I love all the DIY brake jobs. There are a lot of people out there ripping people off selling cars with no frames left or unibody’s gone due to rust. And then all the front and rear ends held together with chain, bungee cords and tow straps. Turkey shit welds holding exhaust pipe’s.
These videos make me glad my dad taught me to change a tire and check my fluids. He also inadvertantly taught me to change the fuel filter before you install a new fuel pump you don't need. The lesson served me well with my Toyotas. But even my 1960 Comet POS that I drove on a driving paper route, (and into many ditches trying to get to mailboxes on my rural route) was in as bad a shape, or as messy as some of these cars. I lived in bumf*ck nowhere most of my life, and a cat was a necessity, not a luxury. Now I live in Seattle and take public transportation everywhere.
That was the dumbest idea. Driving the water pump from the timing chain. When the bearings get that bad you can kiss the engine good bye. The coolant will leak straight into the oil. Last time I checked coolant mixed with oil is a poor lubricant.
Why the hell do people not own tools to remove oil filters, Makes it real easy when they're stuck and you're not sitting the stabbing it with a screw driver 27 times
all videos are good. However I think you're missing the population that needs lot the most. Need written area to read and some description of what's wrong. I have some auto repair knowledge but people don't know what normal should be. Even looking at some of the frame damage, I doubt that many people would even pick it up. Especially looking at wheel play. If a mechanic is doing an inspection AND the customer is watching it being done, I doubt they know why or what it means. you may turn off some viewers who are mechanically inclined at the start, but once others see the descriptions, you'll pick up more viewers. It may be too obvious to mechanics who deal with this on a day to day basis but I think your intensions are to pick up a less informed audience.
I put a police intercepter in a 79 mustang pacecar. Turned a four speed trany into crunchy's. Four transmission later I sold it. Tired of fixing it. And yes the trans was out.
These are my absolute favorite videos on RU-vid I mean to see how surprised a mechanic can be to see a broken car, do they Really expect to work on brand new cars everyday......🙄
Most all of these vehicles were advised by a dealer or shop long before it ever got this bad.. but cauae the cust lystened to the internet or their back yard mechanic nebor. Is why the problem is so bad it deserves a spot. Of " stupid" cust states... and we share the road with these idiots...
You guys are to hire somebody that knows how to do your videos a little bit better they come through jiggly out of focus and just off the mark hire a professional. You wouldn't let a amateur work on your vehicles why would you let an amateur do your video for you? Sometimes it's very good and other times it's just garbage. You have a fantastic subject matter.
I think these are sent in from various technicians throughout the trade. I'd definitely be recording some of this ridiculousness, and I'm sure not every mechanic/tech is walking around with a snazzy 4k camera.
