finally here is the second video, where I show some of my wooden automatons, made in my small sculpture workshop. you can buy my works in my online shop: www.etsy.com/it/shop/Stoccafi...
That sleeping bear. Oh my word. Just subscribed yesterday. Inspired me to put some wood on the lathe that I haven't run in years, got the sculpting tools out and made a character for my daughter. She went to bed with it :)
It is SO amazing to see you POSSESS such imagination to make little things look so great! Thank you for sharing this video. For a moment I forgot all the TERRIBLE news and commercials that saturates most of the TV channels. I will start collecting pieces that could become a little toy for a child. Thank you for the ideas!
I'm a mature student starting at Art College in September and this is just so inspiring! The passion and precision and the whimsy - that's what I want too, to create joy and wonder. Thank you 💚🙏
I just discovered your channel today, and I hope you get lots more views because everything is so enchanting! I loved the spider and the mice! The mice look real but also look like toys at the same time, I love them 🐁
The shakiness of that cat and mouse on brooms, gives it an appearance of speed, which amplifies, the sense of them flying. I imagine some movie for children, that would use automatas like this. Everything made by hand, every scenery and without hiding it. Even the mechanisms would stay, maybe except for base/stand. I think a movie like this would be extremely charming, especially for kid of older generations. I would love this. I still remember my grandfather, carving wood toys, pity none survived to this day.
Just discovered your channel. I really love all your creations! I would love to see children playing with these instead of battery operated toys. They’re more environmentally friendly! Perhaps you could mass produce and get people to assemble them on their own. I appreciate the mechanism and would love to do that. Thank you for sharing!🙏💖
Я не устаю удивляться и восхищаться вашим талантом, вашим умением делать такие красивые и чудесные игрушки. Спасибо 🙏 вам наиогромнейшее за ваши золотые руки. 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
I think the dancing mouse on the cheese is my favourite but then I saw the ghosts in the forest and the cat and the sleeping bear. Dammit they are all my favourites (except for the spider!😆) Enchanting is the word.
These are so amazing; you really have a gift. Idk if you're on tik tok or not but if you ever want to turn these into short tik tok videos you might be able to make some money that way. Either way super cool, thanks for sharing!
You're doing great work! The mechanisms are simple but the charm of your "characters" just elevates it. I see that your videos only go back a few weeks. How long have you been making them and what got you interested?
0:35 I am very curious why the mouse's rotation speed varies. It looks like your cranking speed is constant? Does it go faster on the "downhill" part of the cam action?
