Pure ignorance of string physics, and this slur video is weak advice, you could learn a lot more about slurs from Grisha Goryachev in less than 10 minutes. I am surprised how so many people over rate popular guitarists and do not see their obvious short comings.

Not convinced that gravity is used in an ascending slur!..... Gravity falls downwards not sideways.......descending slurs yes........I like to think of descending slurs as being plucked as we do with the RH and with apoyando or tirando according to which one is needed.
How in the world this channel doesn't have a million guitarist subscribers is flabbergasting... especially after I have seen other channels with millions of subs and it's just a guy holding a guitar making stupid faces...
