Pseudomonas fluorescens is a bio-fungicide and it is an aerobic, gram-negative, ubiquitous organism present in agricultural soils and well adapted to grow in the rhizosphere. This rhizobacterium has various characteristics that allow it to function as a biocontrol agent and to encourage plant growth. It may be generated in bulk and grows quickly in vitro.
