I'm half way done with the video guys. Can't wait to upload it. I went outta my comfort zone and learned some shit in the process. Lyrics are dope af and I might change the background video, I'll see.
Alot has changed in my life. Sorry about the REALLY LATE upload but I had to move across country and everything. Will you guys be fine with a sample for now?
“Medal of Honor” Five white stars on a blue background, Medal of Honor just to wear around. In 1900, at the Peking Wall, Private Dan Daly answered the call, At the rebellion he took the lead, And by himself he did the deed. In 1914, he won one more, Fighting the Haitians just to settle a score, Gunnery Sergeant Daly passed the test, He captured and destroyed a machine gun nest. Five white stars on a blue background, Medal of Honor just to wear around. Butler and Daly each won two, Making history for me and you, As fighting Marines they took control, They fought the enemy blow by blow. Pappy won one in ’43, Splashing zeroes in the sea, But, Chesty Puller was the best, He wore five Navy Crosses upon his chest. Iron Cross on a blue background, Five Navy Crosses just to wear around
@@johnvelas70 no, his 2nd MOH was awarded in Haiti fighting the Haitians, not hessians. Hessians were in the revolution over 100 years before Daly was in Haiti.
The first time I heard this we were in ranks outside and sister div marched by singing it and it started snowing as soon as they started the cadence. It was one of the coolest moments I remember
Both my RDC and my AROC tried to sing this one a few times but they could never do it justice. Honestly, I didn't really like this cadence for that reason. Then I came across this video and now I love it. I'm in A-School at the moment and this is always stuck in my head!
I was there when she sang this most beautiful voice I had ever heard her voice represented why I was there. Division 236 we sang that song every where too lol
It’s so bitter sweet that the wars are coming to an end. Hopefully no more Americans die in the Middle East but at the same time all of the people that have that warrior spirit will no longer have a battle

Hearing this reminds me of graduation day. We had the battle E and every flag and we marched in singing this cadence and it’s was such a beautiful and amazing moment In My life I’ll never forget
The First time I heard this. It was a couple of days after battle stations. The graduating divisions was marching to Pacfleet to set up for graduation. Brought some tears to my eyes tbvh
This song gives me another perspective for the US flag, The blue for the tears shed for the recipients death, the stars for medal of honor recipients, the red for the pain or blood of the recipients, and the white for their spirits living on.
I have not been able to find any other version of this cadence. It is very beautiful. Please, if anyone know of another version, preferably the full version, let me know.
My division learned this cadence and we just could not get it down. My RDCs said we could not do it anymore it was disheartening. but i later realized why. HOOYAH DIVISION 249 AUGUST 12th 2022
When I was in boot camp this division was 2 weeks before mine and I would hear her singing this cadence and I fell in love I come back to this video often
I’d just like to say. I graduated Bootcamp 10 months ago, but this cadence. Made life easy for us in boot. We got good, and I mean really good at this. I was rpoc. And we would sing this cadence going down the street. Everyone watched. In pure awe that we could do this
I remember this cadence, the most beautiful voice sung by a female ARock going by when the sun was setting and we were sitting outside just waiting for our turn to start marching.
Reminds me when my div was doing a marching inspiration and as we passed the captions building we started singing it so loud and good the instructors just stopped and listened to us, we got that bravo Zulu!
Its about the corpsmen DAN Daily AND Smedley Butler who were saved by corpman. Marines are a department of the Navy and and every honorable Marine will say a Corpmann is a Marine.
Anyone know where I can find the full version of this song? I remember in boot camp when some people didn’t go to church, my RDC taught us how to grenade people and showed us this song. After that, I always wanted to hear this song again and hopefully download it or buy it. Unfortunately I cannot find the full song, so if someone knows where to find it please let me know
A navy cadence commending a marine . The navy and marines might talk shit but the navy will always be there for our boys and girls ❤. You can bet the house on that .
