Tigers were extremely heavy and slow, I think the ratio was like 6 to 1 that the Americans would send Sherman’s per tiger. The game was right the tiger just couldn’t be shot from the front so it’d be rushed with too many targets

Oh yeah. They had a nickname for the shermans because it'd take so many to kill a tiger. I can't remember it though.

although you are right about the weight and speed of tiger the K-D ratio is not entirely true, most of the reports of it taking 4-6 Sherman tanks to take out 1 tiger are from when the Americans first encountered the tigers in France and in Germany at that time the M4 Sherman didn't have a gun powerful enough to perpetrate the tiger unless they got to the rear of the tiger, but when the USA came out with the M4A3E8 (Easy 8) it had the long barreled 76mm witch game the round enough velocity to punch through the frontal armor of the tiger tank and from the video it looked like Wolf was in the E8 but i guess from a game play perspective it seems more intense to get to the back of the tiger to kill it.

P-38 Lightening, also known to the Japanese Empire as the Fork-tailed devil. Awsome fighter once they worked the kinks out. Not sure we had them by D-day though, think they were after that and Pacific theater only.

Fun fact to this day the Tiger tank is not in use but is a mid Cass tank takeing 2 rounds to kill with a modern heavy tank

yeah nah a good example of a "modern" tank is the M1 Abrams its main gun is a 115 mm smoothbore cannon the Tiger only had 100mm armor and no reactive armor meaning one HEAT round would one-shot the tiger
