This video made me feel great about straight up throwing away the old Medela advance I bought at a thrift store this week (I bought it because it came with an awesome bag AND a milk cooler).
I have a symphony and the old connectors with the old yellow pieces and rubber stoppers. I JUST sanitized and am trying the new personal fit connectors, and I am not sure how I feel about them/the suction just yet. I would love a comparison of the medela connectors with the yellow piece vs the silicone duckbills vs the personalfit connectors
I am complicated an I think I need to see if we have it in our budget for me to join an get help because I really need to breast feed an pumping is a big part of life because of a few reasons medically an I think 🤔 going to people who truly study it all may help me a lot. I spend hours over the years researching and trying but financially I can’t afford to keep trying this time with this last baby #4
This is very interesting. I didn’t realize that mixing and matching different pump parts with different pumps could make that much of an affect on a pump’s performance. I actually used Lansinoh brand pump parts with all of my pumps, even though I didn’t own a Lansinoh pump. I just really liked the Lansinoh pump parts. They worked the best for me, and they felt very comfortable. But now I’m wondering if I would have gotten different results if I had actually used the original parts that came with my breast pumps. My main pump was the Medela Freestyle Flex.
