I'm amazed with the freestyle. Backstory, I hate pumping. So I ordered the elvie (from target) because I hate being tied to the wall and wanted to be free. The elvie left my right breast extremely clogged. I returned it. (Target allows used open pumps to be returned thank goodness 🙏) and I got this. Let me tell you, this cleared up all my clogged ducts, and brought my milk back up ( I was getting 2 oz, with this i got 5.)

Hello Mommy Racquelle! Viewer from the Philippines 😀 How long have you used your flex already? Did you pass the 250hrs (life span) of it? If yes, are there any changes- did the suction decrease or the battery doesn’t last as long as it was when it’s still brand new? I have the flex right now and I’m afraid to use it more than 4x a day because of this ‘250 hours life span’ of it 😔

Paula Angeles Hi Mama! I have used my flex for 7 months and I don’t believe I’ve reached the 250 hours. I am definitely going to check this. I do know that the suction is very light in the beginning but nothing has changed about it yet. Thank you for watching! Subscribe ❤️

Oh I loved your review! I am so a Medela girl too and was torn between these two. I’m dying to know since it’s a year later...were you able to get the full on your nails or did they end up coming off?! Quarantine definitely lasted longer than any of us thought it would! 🤣

They definitely came off lol however, i am finally going to biweekly appointments again in a smaller salon with only two nail techs so no worries on safety 😂

I started with the Flex and purchased the Sonata almost 4 months post partum. I really wanted to love the Sonata but I don't respond do it as well since it's more of a mechanical pull for suction while the Flex uses vibration, which I respond to better.

Bethanie Moose I find that people respond so differently to the vibration or suction lol. I don’t really think about it I just want the milk out 🤣

I’m an exclusive pumper for my NICU baby. I have low supply so I pump 8-9 times a day. Do you think the Sonata or the Flex would be better for pumping more frequently? I’m assuming the Sonata. I like that they both are portable since I travel back and forth to the hospital a lot. Thank you for this great review!

Aww! Congratulations to you mama❤️ you would definitely benefit from the sonata! The suction is amazing and i can honestly say my supply grew as my baby grew

Thank you!! I have the sonata and use it at home but need a more portable pump for work. I didn't like the vibration suction of the original freestyle. Does the new model have that same vibration? Does it bother you?

Chastity Chanel the freestyle flex does have a vibration that can be annoying when you don’t see the same amount of suction happening. If you have that part I wouldn’t suggest purchasing that one.
