In some patients, the involvement of the Median nerve may show the classical presentations as described in textbooks. But in most of the patients, there will be very subtle signs, that may mislead the surgeon into assuming that the nerve is intact.
Clinical examination of Median nerve injury must be thorough, to be able to make a perfect diagnosis and also plan the treatment schedule.
