Median Nerve Palsy: Clinical Examination methods including entrapment neuropathy of Median Nerve 

In some patients, the involvement of the Median nerve may show the classical presentations as described in textbooks. But in most of the patients, there will be very subtle signs, that may mislead the surgeon into assuming that the nerve is intact.
Clinical examination of Median nerve injury must be thorough, to be able to make a perfect diagnosis and also plan the treatment schedule.
In this video, the individual muscle testing for Median nerve injury are demonstrated. Other tests done in compression neuropathies like the Scratch Collapse Test, Pronator provocation test, Durkam's test and the Phalen's test are also demonstrated in this video.
