I'm mostly a traditional artist but I really wanted to try out digital but getting the hang of different programs have been really tough and not a lot of tutorials I watched explained what certain tools do -- this tutorial tho is really really helpful!! Thank you!!! :)
I'm using medibang on Android, and got confused with gray scale coloring technique in medibang android, can u make tutorial about it, btw u got one new subscriber ❤️
i know its late but...u just shade with grey and use a darker value to shade (just like u wud with colours)...and then add highlights and stuff...and clip it and add ur colours.....ur welcome
This is genuinely so appreciated. You have no idea how many people just talk over their speed paintings without really explaining what they're doing or the techniques they use, but still call it a tutorial. Thank you. Thank you. THANK YOU. for not being one of those people.
This is a super helpful video. The explanation was so clear and easy to follow. Thank you so much. Would you please consider doing a similar video on blending and gradation? I would so much love to watch a live streaming from you. Love your art...the world and mood in your paintings are so beautiful. Thank u again. Have a beautiful day. :)
I'm sorry to ask you i just downloaded Medibang pro but i'm struggling with the brushes I don't know how to add more do you know how i can add more brushes?
Been watching through your tutorials all morning. Can't believe I never used clipping or alpha layer settings before and I even studied digital design at university. So much time wasted. I look up tutorials for all sorts of things and normally the is a lot of fluff before I get any useful information. Thank you for being so direct and informative in your videos. Your videos are super easy to follow and understand. Some of the best I have seen. One last thing, never apologize for your voice mate. It doesn't sound childish like you said in another video. Your voice is high, but in a good way. It is genuinely pleasant to listen too and adds a comfy vibe to your videos. Also even at 2x speed I understand everything you say on the first pass through which is rare. So own it queen! Anywho, thanks again!
I recently discovered your channel, and I've improved drastically. Every video has been extremely helpful for an amateur like me. You're very skilled, and it's even cooler that we use the same program. Thank you so much!
Hi I wanted to thank you so much for your tutorials. They are really nice and easy to follow and you definitely think about your audience and how many of them may be beginners and not understand some of the commonly used terms for digital art, and that you never assume so you take the time to break down and explain everything that you do. You are a wonderful teacher and you definitely have a way with teaching! I like how your pace is nice and easy to follow and I don't have to keep rewinding to hear again what you are talking about. I only do traditional and have had no luck in digital so I stopped trying ages ago and have finally decided to try digital again. I use ibispaint and although the apps are different, the way how you slowly, calmly, easily and clearly you explain things transcends all drawing apps. I understand enough to be able to apply what I have learned onto ibispaint. You are really wonderful for doing what you do! I can't thank you enough! You are the best at explaining the digital art process for total beginners! Thank you!
I started doing digital art 5 days ago and this is the best straight to the point tutorial ever. no detours, no shenanigans, no nothing! Straight to the point and thank u for this💕
2021 and this popped up on my dash and turns out to be the easiest to understand tutorial I've seen by far despite searching through dozens of colouring tutorials.
Whoa, the lineart was so beautiful I didn’t think it could get any better, but the final piece is stunning! Thanks for this informative video 💓 Btw, do you have a shop? I’d totally buy a print of that.
its really so nice seeing such a clean line art+ good voice-over tutorial + an incredible painting ... you have it all ♥ you inspire me so much to become an artist
Thank you very much! I have Medibang Paint Pro and I've been feeling a little dissatisfied with how I've been drawing/shading/etc. This tutorial was very helpful and quick with how to shade (I also enjoy your other videos) Thank you for this, and it's something I can practice doing to improve my art skills!
This is extremely helpful, for both learning MediBang and a few coloring techniques. You have a very easy to follow, step by step tutorial without an artsy word exposition dump. The visuals match up clearly with the audio, providing a guide for visual learners.
This was so helpful, thank you! I've been erasing all the color outside the line art after coloring, and using the blur tool, this will save me HOURS! xoxo
Idk if you are even on here anymore, but I wanted to thank you. I have this idea for my book cover & im not really sure how to approach a artist to make it. Your videos & tools are all super helpful
Thank you for every single tutorial on this channel. I have just recently started digital art on a cheap-ish $250 Android tablet after 4 years of traditional art and plan to buy a Cintiq later on down the road, but I want to see if digital art is right for me. I have tried so many apps from ArtFlow to Painter to Sketchbook and now I have downloaded Medibang. It seems like Autodesk Sketchbook with more creative options and it helps that I have a creative person to guide me through learning to use it. You deserve way more subscribers for the amazing work you have done. I am currently about to attempt the realistic face tutorial on your channel as I type this.
You make it seem so simple! Thanks for this and I hope I get better in drawing and colouring my artwork! I just don't have the right choice of colours ;^;
Thank you! All the other tutorials are too long because my attention span is so low I'm not focused ;; and thanks to this video my shading had became increasively better! Thank you again
Medi Bang is the only program I use willingly ( I have to use photoshop at school) I have never known about protect alpha and clipping and how easy it would make my life XD. Thank you for these wonderful tutorials, I really should’ve looked them up sooner.
Finally a REAL artist. Someone who cares to create a masterpiece and not just what fetishes get them off. I've been scouring the web for a tutorial like this, but I just kept getting horny guys who were coloring nasty degrading pictures like it was something normal. So THANK you so much. I'm so annoyed it's hard to find a decent respectable guy these days. I only find women who are respectable like yourself. So, thanks so much and your art piece so so beautiful.
I came here for learning soft shading cause that's what I have been having trouble figuring out how to do, and this explained it perfectly! The clipping layers are heavenly for shading. Thank you so much!
The best tutorial out there by far! No skipping of steps like most other RU-vidrs. Thank you for sharing this even though I'm like almost 3 years late!! Youre he best!!
Does anyone have tips on preventing the watercolor looking so streaky on skin (the percentage of opacity, load color, etc) It completely ruins the look and whenever I try using the airbrush it looks too basic
The literal second you showed what clipping did I was so happy because I’ve been using this program for so long and this makes it so much easier goshhh
This tutorial was so helpful. I only just started and was hating the software that came with my drawing tablet. This video really helped me learn where things are and some basics of digital art. THANK YOU
I really enjoyed your tutorial, it was very down to earth and with a calm and collected vibe to it. And I appreciate the beauty and creativity of your art.
I had no clue about the correction thing. I was always saying 'i wish my brush was a bit steadier'' and omg angel from heaven tysm for pointing that out :D
i have just begun with creating digital art and i hope that one day i will be able to do something beautiful like this as easy as you made it look. awesome video, thank you.
Thank you for the tutorial! Also, I created the bush leaf pencil using your DeviantArt account. You taught me coloring and how to create a custom pencil. Thank you very much.
