I've been HIV positive for a year. I hope one day they find a cure :( . After two years , i’m still good thank to the medication. 2023 i’m very well and i have a good life. 2024 better than before , i have a work , strong body and i’m more self confident about this issue

I'm glad to know that if someone is HIV positive and takes medication to sustain a low viral load (200 ml copies or lower) in their bodily fluids, he or she can't transmit the virus to an HIV negative individual via unprotected sex, drug use, breast feeding, or child birth! And the other great news is that as long as his or her medicine is taken on time everyday, the virus will never progress to AIDS and he or she will live a full and healthy life!!! The medical field has done an AWESOME job at tackling this!

Ive read there are a small percentage of people that have a natural genetic resistance to hiv and an experiment was done when someone with hiv needed a bone marrow transplant to treat CANCER (unlucky bugger) a doctor organised it to find a match from someone who happened to have this resistance and it dealt with the cancer and also dealt with the HIV.

Maar naarmate de tijd verstreek, ben ik langzaamaan in het reine gekomen met mijn hiv-positieve status en probeer ik het met een positieve instelling aan te pakken. Well did you know that highly active antiretroviral therapy could also cure an HIV infection. And when you take the drugs called antiretroviral medication daily it could also cure an HIV infection to.

the education video is so awesome. it is so simple to explain thing about HIV. better than reading text and try to connect how the system is working. Now immunology is easier than the text we learned before.

Back then, I watched this video and learned about the dangers of HIV amd how it affects you. Years later when I was in 8th grade, I put the education to use by explaining how HIV violently murders your helper T cells without mercy

Not to mention that fast mutation rate means that it spread to new host in many other ways, But in fact flu and corona and cold viruses are my main concern, As they mutate rapidly through the misfit clone evolution(a type of evolution that viruses often do, in order to evolve), That sometimes they can even find another way to get from host to host through vectors(and just like those viruses that I just explained even through coughing and sneezing),the main vectors are biting flies(including mosquitoes, another reason why we hate mosquitoes), Blood borne viruses(including HIV) could use mosquitoes to transfer from one host to another more quickly, (unfortunately they can’t reproduce inside those vectors, but that still doesn’t mean they can’t use them to spread more easily)? And that’s why I(Ryan VD) am even more scared of mosquitoes and this virus.

As a test of maturity, you and your partner should offer to go get tested together before engaging in sexual activity. If he or she really cares about you and is emotionally mature , he or she will be happy to go get tested with you at any clinic. This is a very good indication of being able to trust them. Its a major red flag if the guy doesn't want to be tested or use condoms. It requires a serious discussion and good judgement. Please be careful and stay safe !
