The medical examiner who performed the autopsy on John O’Keefe testified in the boyfriend cop murder trial on Thursday. Dr. Irini Scordi-Bello said O’Keefe’s cause of death was blunt impact injuries and hypothermia. She also said she could not determine his manner of death based on his injuries alone. Dr. Scordi-Bello confirmed O’Keefe BAC was 0.21 and he most likely got knocked out, unable to move, which lead to the hypothermia.
