Dang, clinical NLP was my undergrad research not knowing that this was already being actively worked on in Google. I wanted to continue it when I get to grad school, but now I just feel lost again because all my ideas have already been implemented in a much better way.
I understand what you mean, but in my experience. Most of the cutting edge stuff is mostly used by the FAANG gang and their enterprise customers. There are a ton of mid-sized companies that are no where near what you have done. So find the middle ground of people who will be blown away by your work and go after them.
@@qiang2884 I understand what you mean, but in my experience. But also keep working at the underlining ideas and pipeline. There are still a ton of customers that have not been reached.
I guess this all depends on how many languages the libraries they use support. And the languages that are most trained use to be English and Spanish because they are not extremely far apart and they are spoken by many people.
