I rec a new prescription for glasses at 64 years of age but noticed wavy trees/signs/lines as I was driving. I went back to see ophthalmologist immediately and found out I had wet MD. I was shattered. When they covered my left eye, 1/2 of my right eye was completely blind. I immediately went to a specialist 2 hours from where we live and started rec injections every 4 weeks. i have improved so much that now I can see through the blind area however it is greyish and wee blurry. After 2 years I now rec injections every 3 months, my eye sight remains good with glasses, wavy lines gone and so far no more bleeding. I’m thankful for medical advances. I would prefer better ways of freezing the eye (won’t go into detail here). Please everyone GET eyes checked regularly. Thank u Nita for sharing.
