I was in the hospital one night. I had had a good day. I kept all of my food down and my good meds were kicking in. So, I flipped on the television looking for something good to watch and I came across Joel. I started watching this man and he started talking about his daughter. He was crying talking about how beautiful she is with her "blond hair and blue eyes". Uhhh what?? Really Joel?? Ok. I knew then and there where his heart was.

Its funny how I've seen with my own eyes people that have little 2 nothing give those who r in need almost everything they have. Then u have this """man of God""" that ONLY reacted when he got backlash. I live in Lousiana but I'm working in TX, I didn't leave because who would have thought it was going 2 do the damage it did. 4 my coworkers who stayed and tried 2 get out afterwards, couldn't. It is still flooded in many places and it sickens me that people that have all the facilities 2 help other don't when there are people who have theirs limited and offer all the help they have. Another thing, I'm giving Tyler Perry the side eye on making excuses and defending this "godly man". Most occasions in a disaster is where people truely show their colors.

My grandmother was trompled over and disrespected by sooo many people when she evacuated for catrina! She got very little help from the people serounding her. The bus stopped at a chicken place and the people on the bus acted like animals my grandmother ssid. So i understand why he would have security. My grandmother said she would not evacuate again because of the ignorance of the hurricane evacuees and their disresrespect for the elderly alone!... She said she never heard so much fowel language around children in all her life. Her story gets even worse... That alone is enough for me. The adults acted worse than toddlers. She has since passed away but i will never forget what she told me what she went through. It was very hurtful to me and i wouldnt wish a trip out of town for any reason, on any person. She was in a scary position.
