The workshop is divided into 4 parts:
Basic Obs Workshop:
blood pressure, oxygen levels and temp.
ECG, UTZ, vein scanner, pulse doppler
Labs & Surgery Workshop
-taking blood from a fake arm,
- looking for germs with UV lights,
-keyhole surgery and
- taking a photo of the inside of their eye!
The Senses Workshop
-attendees explore their senses to discover some very weird quirks of the human body!
The Sports Science workshop
-measure their speed, strength, agility and balance across 10 sports science tests
I'm glad I was able to come across this ad on facebook and I just knew that my son would love it. The program started around 10am and ended at 3pm. Early bird ticket costs 49£.
