I say this *all* the time! My fav is: "Don't take this *new* drug if you're allergic to it." How am I supposed to know if I'm allergic if I never took it?!? 😂
@@Mikey-1990 I've been on Zoloft too. Made things so much worse so I get it. I had an experience I'm not even sure how to explain except there was a pressure that weighed me down so I reported it to my doctor. Took me off ASAP!
OMG-THIS!!!!! I was recently diagnosed with PTSD, anxiety and depression, and the psychiatrist recommended some foolishness that had a whole 2 page disclaimer about suicidal ideation being one of the symptoms. I said NOPE. Give me my good sis therapist, two bags of Yogi’s Sweet Tangerine Positive Energy tea, 500mgs of Ashwhanghanda, OLLY’s Stress Free gummies, and my OLLYs melatonin gummies (at night) so I can wind down and sleep off the stress from the previous day. It’s a lot but I’ll take that over those death pills they were trying to peddle to me. At least I can pronounce what I’m currently using 😂

I remember a teacher I had in high school telling us the commercials were structured this way (happy images of smiling people and calming music while listing off scary side effects) to distract people from what they were hearing, make it seem not as bad so they’d be more willing to buy the drug

this is like when they tried to put me on depression meds that may cause: compulsive gambling, compulsive shopping, sex addiction, aggressive, homicidal behavior, 500-lb weight gain, bankruptcy, loss of friends and family members due to your egregious behavior, worsening depression and suicide then my shrink said “well i can’t help you if you won’t take it and help yourself…” like…what?!?! who is the crazy one now?
I don't know how TF those commercials are even legal? They gotta get those commercials in between the draft kings, fan duel, and car commercial for a vehicle NOBODY can afford during NFL games 🤣😂
I remember a law commercial back in the day where it said “if u took (I forget name of drug) and received male breasts…I FELL OUT!!!!😂😂😂😂 I wish I could remember the name of the drug.
it be like “your cold symptoms will subside but side effects include explosive diarrhea, stroke, heart attack, terminal cancer, sudden death etc etc” now get up in that hot air balloon with your dog and smile! guess you won’t have the sniffles if you DIE
