I thought this was a very interesting and informative explanation about how complicated these immune diseases can be. For all the people who complained about the lack of slides, continue your research on this problem because there are loads of webinars on this topic with plenty of pictures. The information about the influence on the cardio system was new to me although I have watched dozens of talks. Thank you for your terrific talk, really learned some important new facts.

Very informative! I'm a severe case of psoriasis or "auto-immune defect syndrom" ... or whatever you wanna call it. Joints not attacked yet, no pain as such ... but BOY: Isn't it just embarrassing to go anywhere ?????????! Deformed nails, long sleeves in the middle of the summer when everybody else are showing their great looking bodies ... (apart from the 80% of the Western world, Indian and Asian are catching up!) population who are carrying around their storeroom or pantry: They could and WOULD EASILY live 30 days or more without snacking crap-food every other 2 hours!) I've been trying out various treatments and strategies against this EMBARRASSING condition. So far no success, but I DO believe in the long run: There IS a way! Eating less: Intermittent fasting. Eating better: NO processed foods, NO sugar, NO powder ... (guess, you know what I mean), junkfood, fastfood or fancy "instant-meals", canned stuff or otherwise. If you can't read it: Don't eat it! Read the label: Any package with 36-letter ingredients: NO GO! Tobacco and Alcohol: Oh dear ... THAT'S a tuff one for me! The whole story here: We've been indoctrinated, brainwashed or more mildly: "Brought up" with eating-habits that brings about ALL SORTS of trouble with our bodies! PLEASE research on your own: One man's poison, another man's cure. After this lecture I learned how SEVERE my condition actually is ...

Informative video. I have found that evening primrose oil, initially in large quanties of 6, 000 mg per day, gradually reducing to 1, 000 mg per day calms psoriasis. However, since I eliminated all white sugar from my diet one and a half years ago, I have had no more outbreaks.

hello .. your video is really good and includes all necessary information.. my friend is a very old patient of psoriasis and his condition was very stable after avoiding things one should avoid and also was on planet ayurveda medication.. both of these things really helped me..

Worth pointing out, we do have a higher risk of high blood pressure, but that isn't linked to the high weight. People with psoriasis with a low weight still have higher risk for high blood pressure. The causation is not high weight.

My brother had shingles. I have psa. Tendonitis was my father's dealing, or his diagnosis. His elbows were operated on years ago.

I don't understand why many of the pictures he is talking about don't show up. Seeing examples is always very helpful. Wish someone could respond and let me know if this video can be seen anywhere else.

I have Psoriatic Arthritis and guttate psoriasis. I also have had stomach issue since I was little. I am trying the SCD (specific carbohydrate diet) and was wondering if anyone has tried a specific diet and found improvement in their condition?

I have had skin psoriasis for many years ,not severe, and then after menopause 9 years ago got the arthritic psoriasis and extreme fatigue.I manage it myself with high dose vit d, cod liver oil, ginger with turmeric.My toes are twisted but my g.p sent me to the podiatrist.Hopeless.The NHS is so bad I gave up and sort out my own illness.I am a pharmacist and it was tough standing8-10 hrs a day.These Drs work for big pharma .There are Chinese herbs that helped and I am better.Even went walking in the Himalaya before the covid.

My Psoriasis started when i was 11 and now im 21 and still never been a day with no spots summer weather coming and i was walking throw town and not 1 person would come by me or round and i went it to a cafe and i was told to leave great day :( thank for reading this sorry but i have no help to other people i have tryed ALL creams and now im going to try sun beds... hope this works

The Dr. makes a comment about questioning the association between Psoriasis and PsA. I strictly changed my diet to handle both conditions and find that gluten makes my psoriasis flare while nightshades, citrus and too many grains cause my PsA to flare. It makes me wonder if the two are even connected or if the arthritis is separate from the psoriasis and it's just another AI condition? My body certainly responds to outside triggers and doesn't adapt well. I think another would have to figure out their own triggers but what has been considered inflammatory foods is definitely the case for me.

I have had it since birth I ran play sports until I shredded my knee ACL minicus, I flared at puberty always had knee joint pain, it went all over my body after the birth of my daughter I was 34 since I had/have cancer with genetic mutation Chek 2. Plus every one on my mom side no mutation but they had psoriasis cancer and unusual cancers. I had had a surgery every 6month since 2016. I had my 14th surgery to have complete hysterectomy plus 1st blood transfusion, at 47-48. It surgery after covid then I got covid. I am still in bed from it it feels like u have all of the severe lesions pustules sever joint pain like sledge hammer it joints or tooth decay in all joints. I could not walk. So then now after not being fat , I am bigger people tell me do you have diabetes this that and I am Discriminated. Against and a psoriatic arthritic cancer patients can't get know relief. My mutation is 3% psoriasis is like 3%, and I have family on opposite tons ,so that makes me like the 10 -15 where as 85 can cure it by food.... I am still alive because I did organic when it wasn't cool I was very active. But at 49 I can barely move pain is ridiculous. People say oh 1hr appt roll eyes hypercondrac. My PC Said you fat you need lap band in 2008. I wanted knee fix your fat lose weight. Well I wasn't fat I don't eat I feel bloated when I eat a bunch of food, when I had all my "guts" removed I finally didn't feel bloated. It is not a joke I have always worked atxa level 10. Now I can barely do something enjoy without naps. I do know after all estrogen left my body I got super cracking joints they turn opposite direction and pop out and I fall alot. I haven't admitted to being disabled for years now I am trying failing and left wanting. U can barely use right hand. I paint do hair and did speech. I can't use side or talk sometimes 😕. My Achilles is bad to. I can't take pain and I want other opinions for my cancers and joints pains and skin legions of doom. My teeth are affected now too after Covid worse. Thank you for your info. I am alergic to both mex and sulfa. Best results I have got is Celebrex Cymbalta, and either a Xanax, or HydrozIne, I can't do biologic because of cancer. The reason I couldn't walk ran out of meds, the change insurance, doc won't write new rx until its done. So I guess it works. I am looking for quality of life. If I can sleep I am good. I stay up at night. So I only want on Xanax I am not addicted and I'd like it for exactly what it does make you drowsy takes edge of so I can sleep. But it's bad now so basically I have to do drug diversion not for being a criminal. But for being a fat arthritic cancer patient in severe pain.. I wish more doctors were more wholistic. I found they perseverate on their topic. Then oh someone else has to do that what can I help you with? Idk please tell me who it is so I can ask. One day I did rounds on the phone I called all 9 specialists and I said this is what's going on with me all of you touched me in the last 2 weeks whatever things I need to call me back please call me back and then I got people calling me back but they could all see my records and they could collaborate if they wanted to but I but I'm very proactive and trying to stay ahead of this and it's frustrating so please just be respectful of people that do have those things and don't tell me it's imaginary just cause it's not understood yet And thank you for trying to understand it you're awesome

My doctors have missed diagnosed the symptom as allergic reaction or xmas on my skins. The joint pain is unreal and tendons .I'm now 45 and after having this fighting threw physical career for 25 years it now has made me disabled.im unemployed trying for disability SSI I have no insurance and cant get the proper test. I have several My 1st cousins diagnosed with loopus and many symptoms are the same as psiriatic arthritis and psoriasis . I also have a long family history of rheumatoid psoriasis diagnoses. My life is useless I truly need help and years now of trying to qualify for SSI .Medicare medicare.its really sorry how I cant access the 25 years I paid into the program .America has a bad gap leaving people for years suffering.

I apparently have this. Was on methotrexate , had it for my breast cancer. Didnt do anything for my arthritis . Am on leflunomide, a bit over this disease. I question my diagnosis. I have no skin condition, its just affecting all my joints. I tested negative for RA. Cant close my hands, its in my back and other joints. My nails have become pitted after taking medication. I had a stroke to my eye 3 months after taking the methotrexate, lost my sight. High blood pressure now as well. Im not happy taking these toxic drugs.

I have psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis. I refuse to take methotrexate because I harms your kidneys. Most man made meds do more damage than good.

Dr. I am 58 yrs old. I have been suffering from Psoriasis for last 35 yrs. I have Hypertension as well as Spondylosis. Whenever I have taken VSL3# one cap (112 Billion) I have experienced relief from Psoriasis and Spondyosis. Is it safe to take VSL3# ( Probiotics)everyday for life

Unbelievable how incompetent the camera technician was. Was it a deliberate attempt to NOT show the majority of the slides that the good and knowledgable doctor was pointing to? Otherwise an excellent talk but spoilt by the camera technician who seems to be happy to show the photos of celebrities but not other medically informative slides.

Low dose Naltrexone is an option that can help with autoimmune disease. I tried it for my PsA and it helped a great deal but I had to stop it because in some people, it can cause sleep disturbances and anxiety. It did for me. It is worth trying and it is cheap. You are suppose to start at 1.5 mg and see how that goes for about a month. Then try increasing slowly each month. Highest does would be 4.5mg. I was doing pretty well at 2.5 but the anxiety and sleep stuff increased and it was too much for me. I am sensitive to medicines too. It is worth a try. A lot of people tolerate it.

If Psoriasis is left untreated, it can easily result in severe health problem.

I'm just guessing....but in the future I bet they will find that something in milk( cow's milk specifically) causes psoriasis.

He seems to be expert on the topic, But this gentleman seems to less serious and empathetic on the subject which is a concern for those who suffer from it. I see he cracks jokes in between some serious conversation. That makes him less credible as a professional
