Hey Brooke, nice video, very relaxing. This weekend, I'm taking my dog snowmaching, sled and my new ice shelter and hot tent it this weekend up by Hatcher's Pass here in Willow and camp this weekend. Hot Italian moose sausage, smoked salmon and spuds. It's going to be a nice weekend. Thanks for sharing.

Almost spring, weather is cold but its not 'bad cold' great to see you out and about.. OW !!! burning your palm hurts, I pray that you heal quickly..

You're a brave young lady for being alone out in the woods. I remember a time I was camping with my husband near White Lake and we having a ceremony that weekend. So, before morning prayer when sun rises and the camp fires are burning and sun light peeking along the rim of the forest, I was the designated one to go into the woods and bring back some kindling. I was doing just that and enjoying the greenery and the smells of the forest when all of a sudden I hear crackling movement further behind a couple of big trees. I knew if I went further or around that bend of the pathway, I was going to encounter either a black bear or a Bigfoot! At that point, I back tracked out of the woods and quietly back to the camp with my kindling. I never mentioned it too anyone for fear of being mocked, especially in a very spiritual site. But I surely kept my eyes opened all day long to make sure nothing would pop out of the woods that day. By the way, thoroughly enjoyed your channel and big kiss to Maisie!

oh Brooke i hope your hand feels better soon! thank you for setting aside the time and the dedication you invest in encouraging us to go outside❤️ i burnt a really pretty poncho once while i was backed up to a fire pit and a good friend put it out with his hand and i’m forever grateful. he still has scars from that, and i fixed the poncho so i still wear it. Love you Brooke! you’re in my top ten on my prayer list, just i feel like He uses you and you are willing and it’s a blessing.

It's always good to have a first aid kit with you, and the only times I've needed one are the times I didn't pack it. Ouch

Michele and I are in our mid seventies. We canoe and camp every chance we get. We spend all summer on the French River, Killarney and Algonquin Park. We find peace in the woods. We are so sick of the crap that religion throws at us. We have a saying - The Forest is my Cathedral, The lakes and rivers are my sanctuary. As I dip my paddle into the mist of time -It soothes the wrinkles of my soul. You - my dear are the real deal!! And We love you and Dave for that. The rain has finally stopped here for awhile anyway! I have got about six different kinds of flower seeds germinating and sprouting indoors and I'm getting my outdoor pots prepared for them. I can tell the outdoor critters and birds are as excited as I am for spring to arrive. Thanks Brooke and Da Woof for sharing your adventures! Here we go ☺️👏🏻❤️

It looks nice out there where you are and your companion must have loved being out there also with you. You must be in the upper part of Michigan on your land there on this hike. That backpack does look great and if I didn't already have one I would want to be buying a good one like that. That is nice that you have booties for Maisy to wear on her feet to help keep her warm.

Brooke it is wonderful to watch your talents and confidence as a woman especially being on your own in a lot of your videos. Well not totally alone cause you got de Wolf with cha some times. I’m going through a lot of life changes right now and it’s scary and beautiful all at the same time. My main prescription for this healing involves nature. Smells, textures, sounds, sensations, crunch of leaves under foot, deafening silence of a winter snow storm. I bet you travel all over the world but if you are ever in the Rocky Mountains in Bailey, Colorado I always have the fireplace burning an National forest trails everywhere. I would welcome your company any time. Keep on just being you. The world is gonna be a much better place when more people enjoy the unity and circle of life through nature.
