I have applied to Peterhouse for Medicine this year and this video (+ the subsequent mock interview videos) are really helpful! Thank you so much for the time and effort taken into giving advice and making this video, Dr Ross Russell and, Qubkani and Jade. I look forward to meeting you in Peterhouse when I come for my interview in December! Also, I hope this is not too much to ask for but perhaps you could consider making a short video specifically for international applicants applying for Medicine at Cambridge? That would be of utmost help for me as well as fellow peers from overseas who are applying for Medicine.

I'm a current A levels student. My alevels have just commenced.afyer viewing this video my hopes for Cambridge University have risen. However,as The respected doctor said"Overseas applicants need to do more than home students"that haunted me. But i have faith that one day I'll be sitting right beside him in the interview room. I hope this gets to him. A hopeful student,who yearns to get in Cambridge, from Pakistan.

there is a reason for that Muhammad .......... it is not conducive for doctors to be trained in this country for all the doctors we have trained to then leave.... as hash as this sounds we are short

@@shivaspatel2024 exactly ........I would rather the NHS had UK staff ......I would rather African health care had African staff......I would rather India had Indian health care staff ........countries who are losing their medical staff when their country needs them to be there is no good no matter how you look at it

so are the Peterhouse interviews mainly scientific questions, or is there any ethical/personal questions?

Hi Inez! I think I'm able to answer your question ;) I'm this year's successfull applicant for medicine at Peterhouse and my advice is to expect both. Some questions covered scientific aspects, others required data analysis and I remember I was asked some ethics related questions as well.

Is the average number of A*s at GCSE around 8-9 for Peterhouse college? I got a 7 in my english language, but I know that it's a core subject. I don't have 10 A*s in my GCSEs. Can I ask do I still have an okay chance of being accepted?
