If you play with a Eastern faction prepare for war against Mongols If you play with a Western faction prepare for war against Milan If you play with Holy Roman empire....prepare for war
For some reason I really like playing the Americas Campaign. The thrill of Apache warriors rushing colonist of the battlefield with nothing but the chant of medicine men and tomahawks!
Warhammer's a great game, Rome 2 (even though it took a year or two) is a great game, 3 kingdoms is a great game, attilla is cool, take off your nostalgia goggles and stop complaining
they have to be in position and not moving already, then just set them at fire at will, you don't even have to give the attack order they will do it themselves, perfect in gate too also if engaged, THEN give the attack order so that they will forget about fighting melee and forcefully shoot the flamethrowers
Remember when you got five expansions, five whole new campaigns for like $10? Now you get five new units that are just copies of other units for $10. Old TW was better.
@@undary0u It was definitely $30 or so to get the Kingdoms expansion that had 4-5 campaigns in it. If I remember correctly too after a year or so from launch there was a bundle so you could get Medieval 2 and Kingdoms for like $50. Also you of course had complete software that you owned. But sure, inflation is why you pay $100 to download shit you can't play offline because you don't own it.
Peter Underkåversson the Britannia and America’s have Roman commands (archers firing and hold this position) in crusaders they have Carthaginian voices for the Byzantine and roman commands for the crusaders and in Teutons roman commanders voice lines again)
France has Crusades Spain has Americas England has Brittania and Holy Roman Empire has Teutonic Each of the four begining factions has his campaign in Kingdoms.
The Welsh are so underrated, a shame they don't get featured in more medieval war games, they had a fairly good army that dispatched the English under Owain Glyndwr, even though he lost, it did give Wales the sense of national pride they have to this day. Cymru am byth!
@@SwordEncarmine Maybe so, but I personally think their longbows more than make up for the lack of good infantry. To my knowledge, archers were the bane of medieval armies and were more feared than other units, the enemy knew that if they didn't kill them first they were done for! I believe that's how Owain Glyndwr managed to knock off a brunt of the English armies in most of the battles he fought.
I'm glad they didn't make Medieval 3 because everything they put out these days is crap anyway. Maybe when they finally use a new engine it will be time for Medieval 3.
Love how you can always here the time total war assets for anyone talking example Britainia has the Roman archer voice line and the byzantines have Carthaginian voice lines
You mean England? Also the Welsh longbowmen (Saethwyr) are superior to all the English longbow units in the Britannia Campaign. In custom battles, only the best Genoese crossbow units can match them.
