Hungary and Poland going after each other at the start was the dumbest thing that happened. With peace in the east, the HRE had a easy time in the west and south. The only weakness the HRE got is her central position and that was omitted. France was on some questionable adventures in England. Turks and Byzantines balance each other and the last big bully, the Moors, was gang raped by the Iberians and Italians.
How do you fight battles. Imagine someone 15 turns ahead attacks you. The battles must be auto-fight. You cant sit and wait. Maybe do 1 turn a day. Each person has a set hour to do their turn.

СРИ и в оригинале были такие, и в реале, но в реале их мощь и размер компенсировали политические дрязги со всеми подряд и со своими же князьями, а тут ничего этого нет. По хорошему для баланса нужно были бы часть земель Империи передать нейтралам, а-ля "претенденты нового Императора" или излишне независимые принцы/курфюрсты. Тогда бы у соседей был бы шанс.
Тут странно что Византия всех не сожрала. Самые имбовые войска, особенно из Константинополя. Главная ошибка - потащился игрок за неё в Месопотамию, а надо было заруливать на юг к Египту, и в Европе контролировать Венгрию с ключевыми замками. Как вариант в Европе еще вполне по силам провести захват Италии.
Yep, Stainless Steel isnt balanced when it comes to strength of factions at the start. The HRE, the Byzantines, the Turks and the Moors just got a huge advantage. Thats why the small guys need to focus on them first together or they re just food. Turks and Byzantines kinda balance each other for obvious reasons. The Moors got gang raped by the Iberians and Italians, smart move from them. As you said the HRE had a easy time, because almost all neighbours attacked each other instead of focusing the big bully.
