Medieval History Portrayed by Minecraft
Hey bruvs, this video is on the history of the Medieval Ages. This video mostly focuses on the Middle Ages of Europe, but it will show the Mongols as well as the Crusades which took place in the Holy Land. This video starts in the year 476 CE during the fall of the Western Roman Empire and it ends in the 1400s, when the Renaissance started.
Anyway, I hope you find the video entertaining and educational!

I read a textbook for class that said the crusades were fought by 12-17 year old boys and that they literally just joined the huge wave of boys traveling through their town because it looked interesting to be part of something big like that.

What’s funny about the Hundred Years’ War is that even though Europe started it like the crusades nothing happened but it just reinforced the other sides control of the land. Europe was fighting France for a lot of land that the French controlled but technically wasn’t theres.

I’d say it’s the Black Death. The Black Death caused the Byzantine Empire to weaken at a much faster rate than what would’ve happened if the Black Death didn’t happen. Also, the europe-wide existential crisis made people value their spiritual life a lot more. Also, I don’t think a lot of rich Italian families (like the Medicis) would’ve become rich enough to fund the Renaissance. It’s just my point of view anyway.

0:30 actually the fall of Roma in 476 isn't due to Wisigoth but to ostrogoth under Odoacre. Wisigoth ravaged the City in c. 410 under Alaric

So i love history and minecraft but there is probably a lot of people watching who maybe only for example learn history only from school and there they only learn about certain parts. Whit your vids I think a lot of people can get a better understanding of the timeline if history, and maybe even discover how fun history is when you learn in a fun way. ( so not is school, schools only teach the boring parts and they teach in boring ways. Also I love your vids keep up the good work
