Good debunking! I'd dither with your characterization of the 5th century as Anglo-Saxon. It would be more appropriate to call it a Brittonic era (aka Post-Roman), with the Anglo-Saxon period beginning in the 6th century. British resistance in the 5th century stemmed Anglo-Saxon advancement, with the battle of Mons Badonicus setting back Anglo-Saxon advancement for at least a generation. :)
