@Dylon Vonszxensxzineu The fact these people you're replying to want it to be toggleable proves you're very, very wrong. It looks way better over the shoulder. Original doesn't mean best.
I'm sure it'll be an option. But I look at this more like iron sights in shooters. That said, I still replay the original yearly. I'm overly excited about this.
I think the reason it isn't and probably won't be is because they still use set camera angles. What I mean by that is the camera control is still taken away from you at times for more cinematic angles which is already present in the short lived demo.

Same with me when i showed my younger sister crash and ctr and she lovrd it and started to play it and i kept explaining to her some few things its really great when you show someone whos is younger than you something that you used to love

Inferno Spider Crash nope 👎🏻 that’s Microsoft Xbox is way better you play all Gen games on one console with one membership ! Sony is way behind Microsoft! It will only support PS4 game and VR.

Layden will be missed :( he was the best thing that happened to PlayStation! Tretton was great but Layden will remain a legend in our hearts. Noone else wore those tease t-shirts hinting at the next nostalgic remake. Hopefully the new CEO will do the same
Best way to showcase the extra detail put into the remake over the original. Playing the demo I liked the new sense of scale it brings and it feels more immersive.
Is there a way to set Dan Cam up in the settings as a permanent thing instead of having to hold down the button all the time? Or even press the button once to keep it there?
I've always hated this camera angle in games where your character is pushed to the left side of the screen and you can only really see what's on your right But here it kinda makes sense since your character only has one eye
Devs should STOP using the over-the-shoulder perspective when using 3rd-person camera view. Its limiting view is very frustrating and unnecessary. Keep the camera centered and within a distance from the character.
Tried it in the demo and it was a bit difficult to enjoy for me. Hoping _dan cam_ options allow toggling and not just hold. Injured my hand pretty bad years ago and it's never been easy to hold those trigger buttons for stuff like this.
I really hope this game does well. There's clearly been so much effort put into it to find a balance of both modern innovation and keeping the same feel of the original
