The dragon armor is the best way to defeat the stone golems! Remember that for the next time. And also, use the flaming longbow to kill the shadow demons at the location with the farmers. This tips is and for the other players...
The bit with the timer should have a checkpoint. I failed the level twice. Once cause I didn't know how to defeat the stone golems and 2 because I didn't see that switch by the catapult. It's ridiculous you have to play the ENTIRE level again for messing that part up.
This just happened to me. I spent too much time trying to figure out how to beat the stone golems, trying to get the last of enemies for chalice and had about 30 seconds to spare but couldn’t see how to load a boulder onto the catapult the smash the wall. I know it’s supposed to be a throwback to that 90s era PS1 design but they tweaked and tuned other things, I think at least 1 checkpoint should’ve been added to each level especially this one as it’s one of the longest.
Paddy C that’s why it’s my favorite level. I’m proud to say I grew up with my PS1 and Medievil is my favorite game on that system, not to mention this is my favorite level.
I think they messed up with the farmers section, they really should make it possible to put out the flames with the hammer weapon as well as the club. That caused me a real headache, thanks for the video!
@@joebrito3192 I tried it recently, couldn't do it with the hammer. Three smacks and nothing happens, do it with the club and it works. Although it could be a glitch I don't know.
Alejandro Droski that one, the pools of the ancient dead, was always my hardest level on the ps1, mainly because the camera would change by itself when I don’t want it to and made me lose lives faster
@@jjadame7925 it's funny because the jump mechanics in the game are still pretty tough I burned about 4-5 potions drowning in that level. Haha I totally hear you dude.
1. Fucking golem was glitched in the wall and i lost like 20 seconds 2. One of the demon was lost and i had to go back , 30 seconds lost 3.I forgot about the lever next to catapult and i lost 15 seconds i jumped on the catapult 1 SECOND before Done. My life in nutshell xD
Thanks for the reminder on how to do the level, just a shame that you must be using a mod of some kind on your ps4 to have the blue magic sword in your hand, and yet the statue still has hold of it, and the fact that you have 7 life bottles where as anyone else who has gotten every chalice tho that point has only 6
I’m at the same bit with the same set up. Think you are doing something wrong. No mods just playing the game though right and grabbing the vial from behind the wall at Dans crypt. The blue sword unlocks before the lighting glove....
I get that you aren't a pro, or anything, but I cringed a lot with how slow you are at a lot of points in this. Not to mention your awful choice of weaponry for a lot of the level.
Almost killing the farmers as you’ve hit them a couple times, carelessly swinging our sword around when the shadow demons have been killed a long time ago, wasting your crossbow in random directions and then on the gargoyles when you could’ve killed them quickly with your axe, not using your dragon armor to stop the burns on you until just before you grab the chalice, and nearly forgetting the money in front of the catapult. Amigo, you weren’t prepared for this, they weren’t the right weapons to use. The only thing you did right was taking out the stoned gauntlets with the magic sword.
@@jjadame7925 Don't forget how painfully long it took for him to get the chickens to eat the feed, too. It feels almost as if the dude never paid attention to the game.
