Medina Lake down 4 feet from just last month, worrying residents, businesses 

I recall during the 50's the drought brought Medina Lake to a point where a person could walk across the lake bed.

Time to start building ocean desalination plants

What happened to the big lake they were going to build at Cuero, Texas? It supposed to back water up past Hwy 111 near Hochheim, Tx

2 years later and now we are at 2% full. Lake days are over and is officially now a sand bowl. I fear this lake will not recover for 20 years or maybe never.

Lake Mead is in emergency status in Nevada and it never rains in New Mexico

Now it’s at 5%

Won’t be long until it’s completely empty. Maybe 3-5 years if we’re lucky.

We waste astounding amounts of water on lawns. Up here in Colorado we've had watering restrictions for years. We took out our lawn and switched to xeriscape years ago and have saved mass amounts of water and time and have had nothing but compliments.

Just need an ice age or a huge flood and we’ll be good to go.

And they're getting ready to build all these homes how are they gonna supply them with water ? And electricity???

It's not like lake Medina its Medina Lake... and there's no such thing as Medina Lake Texas, you're either in Lakehills which is North part of the lake or Mico the South part of the lake. An the town of Medina is a community North of Bandera Texas in Bandera County.... I correct a news anchor😂

Can build oil pipelines.. but not water... canada should be selling water to Nevada.. look at the floods we have out west.. we have lots if ya want to pay for the infrastructure and pay a per gallon

Medina Lake residents are not too friendly…. I believe they want to enjoy the lake for themselves so who cares about it …! I don’t want to say they are racist but dam it feels like it when we have gone ….!

Four foot lake can still be good fun and have small boats and strong fishing. People worry too much. Lakes goes up and down that;s just Mother Nature,
