But why not just scan with the healing cap removed, as in the medit manual. Then screw the scan-body in, select the scan-mode for scan-bodys and just scan over it, medit software will make the matching by itself. These steps in the video are mostly unnecessary and make no sense. 🙂

They may not know how to handle the healing cap for scanning and may cause shrinkage of the emergence profile by scanning for a long time after removing the healing cap. We have suggested a safer way to scan only the emergence profile after removing the healing cap.
